We are celebrating our 1st year 🎗 Here is what I wish I knew before starting Credit: at the beginning stage, your company will not have any credit. Therefore, it can be extremely hard to move freight, unless you already have a big driver base that trusts you. In many cases, you can offer the drivers payment before the delivery, and they will still refuse to book, because of lack of trust. Niche down: choose a small niche, and start doing research. Learn the common issues that shippers face in this specific niche. Come up with solutions to those issues. Focus on these solutions, when doing cold calls or sales in general. Overhead: As you start growing, you will get many calls and emails from companies offering services (tracking services, TMS, marketing, customer leads, business optimizations, credit improvements, etc.). Most of these services will have a binding contract, meaning you will not be able to cancel these services unless the contract ends (some can last up to 3 years). Think twice, before accepting any of these services, because most of your customers can switch to a competitor in any day. This can result in a situation of low cash flow and high overhead, potentially leading to bankruptcy.

Well, we're officially halfway through January and I haven't written a New Year's post. I realize that no one really cares about my “2024 update,” per se, but 2024 has been such a monumental year that I feel compelled to share a few insights. Over the past few years (2020–23), the churn of a global pandemic, several personal tragedies, and career changes had me feeling like I was barely treading water in life. This past year, however, truly turned things around for me and helped me clarify goals and priorities for the years ahead. If you happen to feel like you’re treading water, keep going and look for opportunities to follow new currents—you might just find fresh inspiration and productivity.🌊 With a heart full of gratitude, I want to highlight a few aspects that made 2024 shine for me: 1.) FAMILY: Chris and I worked hard to build the right support team to help our family overcome some challenges. I’m so grateful for his partnership and support throughout the year. Anyone who knows me well understands that’s not an easy task!🙃 2.) WORK: Work is such an essential part of the human experience, and this year, I was proud and inspired every day to be part of our incredible team at Camp4 Collective. The level of talent, professionalism, collaboration, and sheer grit everyone poured into our work was so motivating. I can’t wait to keep the momentum going in 2025. We’ve got a lot of exciting news and projects to share soon, so stay tuned!✨ 3.) HEALTH: This summer, I ran seven Wasatch Trail Series races and the Moab Trail Half Marathon. While I’ve always been a runner, competition has taken a backseat since becoming a mom. It felt amazing to set a consistent schedule of healthy challenges and fun.💨 I can’t wait to catapult into 2025 with more energy and purpose. Leveraging the power of Adobe/Adobe Creative Cloud Applications, we meticulously crafted unique digital assets that integrated personalization into every ticket. From custom-designed tickets to an interactive check-in process, this project showcased how creativity and technology can elevate the event experience. At PHNYXPRO, we thrive on opportunities to collaborates and push the boundaries of design and innovation, delivering memorable moments for our partners and their audiences.

As today marks the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible resilience and strength we all have within us. It’s a powerful reminder of how precious life truly is and how important it is to live each day with intention.
