The fact that I defeated all the odds and still have breath in my lungs is a miracle and a gift 🙌🏼 Last Tuesday, my friends at the American Heart Association shared my survivor video for the first time at the 2024 Detroit Heart Challenge Kick-Off hosted at the Detroit Pistons Performance Center. The event was hosted by this year’s co-chairs, Robert Riney, President & CEO of Henry Ford Health & Arn T., Vice Chairman of the Detroit Pistons. Thank you Sara Hegarty, Sarah Rood, PCM, Renee Rubenstein, MPA, Jason Willis and team for giving my family and I the opportunity to share our story for the purpose of inspiring others and effecting positive change! Every single person needs to know how to perform CPR. I wouldn’t be here today if my wife would not have known what to do 🤯
