Running a two-storey restaurant and English Sports bar in Poland comes with its challenges, catering to diverse tastes in sports and music. Our sports bar boasts 65", 55", 32" TVs, and a 120" UHD projector for the ultimate viewing experience. The restaurant is also equipped with a 60" TV in the main bar and soon adding a 65" in the Lounge. As a business owner, it's crucial to prioritize customer preferences over personal choices. Success hinges on understanding and meeting customer needs. Remember, no business thrives without a loyal clientele. It's essential to have a clear vision while remaining open to shaping it with customer feedback. While managing this dynamic environment, I'm open to new professional opportunities. If you're seeking expertise in the Engineering industry, feel free to reach out. Balancing work and home life is key, and a change of pace could be just what's needed. The bar is buzzing, but it's always exciting to explore new ventures. It also keeps the wife in new handbags and shoes!! 🤣🤣 #HospitalityIndustry #CustomerService #SportsBarOwner #RestaurantOwner #BusinessVision #CustomerFeedback #Engineering #Gas #Power #Electricalengineer

Ahhh the importance of slang. I've spent the last few weeks in Madrid and I've passed by this shop several times in recent days and tried to get my head around it - but I couldn't. I LOVE Oysho and everything they do, aesthetically and technically, but this, IMO, is a flop. I agree writing copy in different languages is a cool thing - both ways, look at Madrí in the UK, but when done, has to be proper. Needless to explain to my Brits 'punching' has a much different connotation than just boxing. And the Oysho copy team should have known this. If you're launching a copy in a different language than your own you need to make sure: 1️⃣ It's properly written and relevant 2️⃣ It doesn't have hidden meaning or connotations - do we all remember Nissan Pajero? (Pajero means wank*r in Spanish) 3️⃣ It actually makes sense. Just by using English/Spanish words, we're not making it cooler I've said it 989845 times but I'll say it again: WORK WITH PEOPLE THAT KNOW THE CULTURE AND RELEVANT LOCALISMS. #CreatorEconomy #InfluencerMarketing

Exclusive: REKOM UK, the nightclub and bar operator, has completed a pre-pack administration, resulting in the closure of 17 venues, as it looks to focus on the growth of its strong performing bar brands, Propel has learned. The company’s remaining estate comprises 23 venues, including ten bars and 13 nightclubs. The company said its focus will now be on its strongest performing brands, including Heidi’s Bier Bar and Proud Mary, which continue to operate and have “outperformed expectations since opening”. Propel revealed last month that Rekom UK was set for a restructuring after filing a notice of intention to appoint administrators to a number of its companies. Peter Marks, chairman of Rekom UK, said: “We have made every effort to redeploy staff across the business where possible and we’re pleased to have saved around 1,000 jobs. Regrettably, however, the reduced estate meant it was inevitable that we would have to make some redundancies. We have informed all colleagues within the organisation of the unfortunate developments that have taken place over the last 18 days. "This outcome follows an extremely difficult period for the late-night sector, thanks to the combination of the cost-of-living crisis hitting younger generations and students particularly hard, as well as the rising National Living Wage alongside increased business rates and costs of operating. While we still recognise there are continued challenges facing the late-night sector, we can now look to the future with optimism. We are confident that this restructure gives Rekom UK a strong core estate that will continue to have a relevant and engaging business proposition in line with consumers’ changing social habits and behaviours.” The business continues to be owned by the Nordic arm of Rekom, which is backed by Danish private equity firm CataCap and operates circa 150 sites across Denmark, Finland and Norway. The restructuring, on which Grant Thornton advised, does not affect the Nordic arm of Rekom. Talking last month, Marks told Propel that a combination of the cost-of-living crisis and the cost of doing business had led the business to accept that the group could not “continue in its current structure”. The 17 sites that have closed with immediate effect are: Cameo and Vinyl in Andover, Unit 7 in Basildon, PRYZM in Birmingham, Jumpin Jaks in Coventry, ATIK in Dartford, Unit 1 in Exeter, Bar & Beyond in Kings Lynn, PRYZM in Leeds, PRYZM in Nottingham, Liquid & Envy in Oldham, PRYZM in Plymouth, PRYZM in Portsmouth, ATIK in Romford, Level 17 in Swansea, PRYZM + Steinbeck & Shaw in Watford, ATIK in Windsor and ATIK in Wrexham. 👉 Find out the latest hospitality news first by signing up to the Propel email newsletter for free, here: https://lnkd.in/g_vS_S7

What is happening to our quality customer experience ? We all from time to time like to indulge in some premium experiences. My wife decided to treat me to watch a movie at GV Gold Class ! Gold Class at Golden Village (GV) cinemas is a premium movie-going experience offered by the cinema chain in Singapore. Here are some key features and details about the Gold Class experience, I will just focus on 2: 1. Luxurious Seating: Gold Class cinemas feature plush, reclining seats with ample legroom and comfort. Each seat often includes a blanket and pillow for added comfort and when you are lucky you get the popcorns from the previous session including the container! Nice touch. 2. Personalized Service: Attentive staff provides in-seat service, including taking food and beverage orders before and during the movie. When you enter the GC lounge you get no greeting no acknowledgement of being welcomed, you barely walked into a room.... So for all the above you get charged premium prices ( S$93.00) for two with absolutely no service and no signs of premium experience ! Let me guess why is that so ...... "we are short of staff " but we charge you premium because we claim we are ! However the person who was seated at the entrance of the lounge checking the tickets was real but definitely didn't understand then a warm welcome is more important then checking the tickets! #service #Qualitymanagement

🔍🌐 Exciting Legal Insights from the Georgian Competition Law! 🚀 The #GeorgianCompetitionAgency 🇬🇪 has unveiled an investigation into the online cinema ticket market, revealing a breach of Article 7 in our competition law concerning restrictive agreements. 🎟️📈 The agency identified the product market as the online/retail realization for tickets, by using a supply-side substitution mechanism to analyze dynamics. Their decision unveiled a vertical agreement between a distributor company and an online seller, however blending characteristics of both vertical and horizontal agreements. The key objective? Market restriction. 🤔 What's particularly noteworthy is that the infringement was identified even concerning the complaining party. This decision draws heavily on #European #competitionlaw principles, showcasing a compelling alignment with its logic. 🇪🇺 🌐 As we navigate this dynamic legal landscape, it's crucial to keep an eye on ongoing developments.
#GCCA NEWS | ➤ The Georgian #Competition and #Consumer Agency has completed the investigation in the market of online sale of cinema tickets and found a violation of Article 7 of the Law of Georgia on Competition (Restrictive agreements). According to the decision of the Agency, on both the appellant and the respondent parties - 3 companies, a sanction of more than 1.6 million GEL(€557 800) was imposed. In particular: • A single economic entity - "#Distribution Company" ("Distribution Company", "Cavea Saburtalo" LLC, "Cavea Gallery" LLC, "Cavea Tbilisi Mall" LLC, "Rustaveli Holding Cinema" LLC, "Amirani" LLC, "Apollo Batumi" LLC) - 1 120 562 GEL (€374 000) • "#Tnet" LLC (100% shareholder TBC Bank Group PLC) - 544,328 GEL (€182 000) • To "#El.Biletebi" LLC (complainant) - 5,368 GEL (€1800) ➤ Following an investigation, it was determined that an exclusive contract between "Distribution Company" LLC and "Tnet" LLC was in breach of competition legislation. The contract gave Tinet the sole right to sell cinema tickets on their portal tkt.ge. Another company, "El.Biletebi" LLC, was also involved in the transaction and attempted to obtain exclusivity on their portal biletebi.ge. ➤ The court intervened at the start of the investigation and stopped the use of the exclusive condition by the "Distribution Company." This allowed the complainant company to operate in the market before the final decision of the Agency, which created a competitive environment and opened a closed market. ➤ To enhance the online sales market for tickets for cultural, entertainment, creative, sports, leisure, and tourism, as well as educational, transport, and other products/services, three mandatory recommendations have been issued for consideration. 🌐MORE: https://lnkd.in/dgkeFuEy #GCCA #GeorgianCompetitionandConsumerAgency #cinematickets #DistributionCompany #Eltickets #Tnet #investigation #Restrictiveagreements

Executive Director at Codegen Technologies Sdn Bhd (All views expressed are entirely mine, except those I copied).
The new economic equation - and not a trivial one The cost of mining one bitcoin is over USD40,000 Mr Peter Tan... With April 2024 round of halvening, bitcoin has reduced the reward of mining to 3.125%... No more bitcoins will be created after 21 million (or slightly less than that due to some arithmetic barrier)... There are about 20 million now created... While bitcoin serves as a storage of value (think of say the Egyptian Pound which is falling by half its value against the USD every 6 months and their government disallows any movement of its currency across its borders confounding hedging attempts), bitcoin doesn't have any intrinsic value except for its cyclical dependency ie it has value to me because you think it has value and you think it has value because I think it has value. Despite that, real fortunes have been made and lost on bitcoin. A couple of days ago, the value of Ethereum had been gradually decreasing as it is anticipated that the authorities will not approve the first few Ethereum based ETFs to be listed, including Ark's. Yesterday, an "authoritative" person tweeted flipping the probability numbers upside down to "likely" instead of "unlikely" That's not an approval - that's just an opinion of likelihood. And what's the maximum length of a tweet? 160+ characters? Ethereum rose 18% Then dove... Blackrock is one of those who have successfully launched a bitcoin based ETF So if you want to grow a trillion dollar fund fast and you have the financial muscle with the fund management skills of a financial Yoda - you can try it too Once you've made enough money, you may wish to snap up lucrative infrastructure projects around the world - and apply your expertise to turn around those that need your global synergy network to orchestrate a web of real value creation What's an ETF? it's a sort of unit trust over a bag of investments but the unit trust can be traded on a stock exchange Bitcoin cannot directly be listed on any stock exchange This is circumvented by bagging investments in bitcoin into a fund and shares in that fund is listed on the stock exchange Bitcoin obtained that approval just a few months ago As an easy comparison, it's like ASN units being listed on Bursa and the unit trust invests in cryptos So if an investor don't know or don't have time to watch the graph or follow the developments, just buy the ETFs from the stockmarket (for better or worse) It's a new - and surreal - economic equation. It is complex with many moving parts and many blindsides too. But it is real - for now...
So that's what they did to Elements Mall in Melaka, the one next to Doubletree Hilton.......😅
