Growth is exciting! 🎉 And comes with additional responsibilities. 😰 Things to consider when sponsoring LOs: - Run a background check, credit check, OFAC screening, and exclusionary list screening prior to sponsorship - Execute an LO Comp Agreement - Provide access to your compliance policies, have them sign an acknowledgement of receipt and willingness to comply - If remote, provide a Remote Workers Policy and require acknowledgement - Require compliance training completion within 30 days of new hire and again annually - Monitor their social media, advertising, marketing - Keep copies of everything in an employee file - Ensure they are dispositioning loans in a timely manner and retaining a full loan file in the LOS #mortgagebroker #compliance
