#Burger 🍔 is not as easy as it was! BurgerFi in the US 🇺🇸 is #struggeling: -13% same-store sales in 2024 (-8% in 2023) with its approx 80 outlets. They hired a #finacialAdvisor and are considering all strategic options. I know that the #competition in #Europe 🇪🇺 is also tough - so it is all about #bedifferent and find an edge of difference vs. competition. #Gastronomy is in trouble! ⚡️⛈️⚡️ And nobody talks about it! #DEHOGA reports a decline in the gastronomy (real) sales ☹️ And Circana shows that the visits are down by approx. -3% 📉 (excluding February due to one additional day). But the #guests feel that the #restaurants are full and with high prices, they should earn a lot of money 💰 They don‘t realize that #gastronomy need more than one #seating per evening and that just a few fully booked days are not enough.
