Imagine you’re having a date night. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could create a calendar event for the restaurant or café where you want to meet? Well, with Where To? 13.1 you can. By popular request, we added an action for the share sheet: “Create event” allows you to add a calendar event for the current place. The suggested time slot is calculated to be within the opening hours. The calendar entry also includes a Where To? link to let you view all the details about the event location. If you prefer to use the Reminders app, just use Siri: Say ”Remind me about this” while you’re viewing a place. And Siri creates a reminder that is linked to the Where To? place. Introducing my new Food Ordering App! The app is nearing completion and here’s a brief overview of how it works: 1. Admin Functions: - Add or delete food items directly to Firebase. 2. User Experience: - View a comprehensive food menu, including popular items. - Utilize search functionality to find specific dishes. - View detailed descriptions, ingredients, and prices for each item. - Add desired items to the cart and proceed to the checkout. - Track recent purchases and receive notifications for order status. 3. Order Process: - Once an order is placed, the admin receives a notification. - The admin can accept and dispatch the order, notifying the user of the status. - The user can track their order, including delivery details, under the "Dispatched Items" section. Purpose of the app: Be the app for rating wines like a professional sommelier. 1. Create your personal wine portfolio a. Determine if your portfolio is private or public 2. Save your wine-tasting notes a. Wine tasting notes if marked private, are only visible to the owner. Even if given other people permission to follow. 3. Share your wine portfolio a. If your portfolio is private, then the owner needs to approve your request to follow. If granted, then can see all of the wines in the portfolio. b. If the profile is public, then no need to approve, and can follow directly. 4. Save your memories from that wine a. Add memory images (birthday, anniversary, etc.) to any bottle. Memory images, if marked private can only be seen by the owner, even to those that follow that profile. Right in time for Friday beers, today we launched an app! SmartCellar, live on Play Store, Apple Store and Web! Steve, BeerTech's CEO approached us with an old app built using .NET and he wanted us to build something that looked sleeker, could be updated more frequently and most importantly he wanted to improve the ability to assess the positive Environmental and Financial Impact of his company's SmartCellar devices. The SmartCellar devices work by detecting when beer in the pub's kegs is cool enough and turning off the air conditioning units - saving energy and money for the pub owners. We created a brand new app with an external backend database that means that BeerTech's clients who include companies like Greene King, can now: - manage their estate of SmartCellar devices from the head office (rather than each individual pub) - keep data on the device's impact if pubs changed managers - maintain features across iOS and Android (we used Flutter for the build) - view all of their data on a custom Web Dashboard Proud of the Mokutan team for this, especially reverse engineering connecting to a Bluetooth device!
