Here's a great blog post by our colleague, Vanessa Dennison, CAE, CBAP® that's worth a read. Vanessa's observation that.. "only 30 percent of associations describe themselves as extremely or very innovative" correlates with the Association for Talent Development (ATD)'s observation on the percentage of organizations that have change competencies baked in. One suggestion is to consider developing internal change competencies like those championed by Gartner in their notions of "Open source change" and supported by Starkweather's Cirrus Change Readiness certified education, predictive analytics, tools and coaching.
