The signs of activity at Rotorua's long-closed museum signal a significant step forward for construction and development in the region. As work on this iconic building begins, it's a reminder of how critical well-structured contracts are to the success of such large projects, especially when additional funding sources come into play. Quantum Contract Solutions (QCS) supports subcontractors involved in projects like this by ensuring that their contracts are clear, compliant, and designed to protect their interests throughout the construction process. This helps subcontractors secure fair terms, manage risks, and ensure smooth project execution, especially when complex funding and compliance requirements are involved.

Preserving History with Modern Engineering: RSME Ravelin Museum, Chatham Alpha Heat Mechanical is proud to have played a part in enhancing the RSME Ravelin Museum in Chatham, ensuring its systems match the quality of its exhibitions. Our work included: ✔️ Installing an advanced air handling unit (AHU), humidifier, and associated pipework, running from the basement plant room to the roof through the museum area. ✔️ Upgrading the boiler and low-loss header unit to optimize performance and energy efficiency in the exhibition building. ✔️ Installing all additional equipment required for the AHU within the exhibition space, ensuring a reliable and controlled environment for the museum’s valuable collections. This project blended technical expertise with a deep appreciation for preserving history, providing a modern solution that supports the museum’s mission. We are honored to contribute to a space that celebrates and preserves our rich heritage. #MechanicalEngineering #MuseumProjects #SustainableSolutions #AlphaHeatMechanical #PreservingHistory

Nature holds a big part of our brief and guideline on how to preserve the project and allow for architectonic possibilities of spatial value. When built form and nature are in symbiosis with one another, then reflections over strategic implementation stands and spaces of exploration rise.

🌍 Exciting Developments in Seismic Vulnerability Preservation! 🌍 I’m pleased to announce our research developed with Glenda Mascheri and Prof. Paulo B. Lourenco, where we analyse the issue of loss estimation in the context of existing built heritage. Our research, conducted in Lisbon, adopted Multi-Attribute and Consequence Models to offer a new perspective on safeguarding existing masonry buildings. This work represents a significant step forward in understanding and mitigating risks in urban environment. Stay tuned for more insights! #HeritagePreservation #LossEstimation #Research #BuiltEnvironment

3rd event of International Lectures cycle “Visualizing and Defending Values in Architectural Heritage Changes” Scientific Chairs: Dr. Raffaella De Marco, PD. Dr. Izabella Parowicz Organizing Secretariat: Arch. Rola Abu Hilal Register here: https://lnkd.in/dv5QCfyj The cycle of lectures intends to address issues on the cultural, social, economic, and archaeological values associated with Architectural Heritage, in particular highlighting the application of digital technologies, from documentation to 3D representation, and the opportunities for dissemination and interaction through #narrativedigitalenvironments. The study theme defines a dynamic framework for in-depth studies and reflections on Cultural Heritage, where history and community contribute to writing a changing vision between #memory and #actuality. In this way, the value and significance of #ArchitecturalHeritage can be consciously directed towards its understanding, sharing and protection by the civil society. The third event is organised on 3 panels: “#Spirituality”, “#Conditionality”, “#Aesthetics”, and features international professors and researchers from Italy, Portugal, Poland, Malta, Cyprus and Iraq. Among the presented research, international projects, research activities and innovative actions between academic and professional sectors for the valorisation and interdisciplinary address of Architectural Heritage protection.
