Manager Group Communications @ KION Group

Good collaboration is open communication! 💬 That's what I was thinking the last time Nicole Kraus and I completed a joint sub-project. We have been working together on the communication of the KION Management Trainee Program for more than a year now. And, in my opinion, with great success. Our collaboration is characterized above all by trust, open communication and constructive feedback. 🤝 To ensure that this continues to work so well, I always keep these three tips in mind: ✔️ Make sure that everyone involved is on the same page. 👍 Trust that your team members are doing a good job.  🎉 Celebrate successes. Good collaboration is a learning process! What tips do you have for me? 💡 #kionambassador #kiongroup #collaboration #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #teamwork #workingculture

That is so kind, thank you Johanna 💐. I like your hands-on approach and that I can fully rely on you 🙌. Always working hard, but also always finding the time for a laugh 😊. Why does it work so well? Because I can openly share thoughts 💡 with you, reflect on new ideas you and get feedback from you 💭. You share what is the best way to communicate (lets try #tiktok 😉) and you perfectly understand the target group. And not to forget ❕ We are also given trust and freedom by Timo, Kathrin and KION Group to try new ways of working and communication. So overall: a great combination to do well 🚀.

Being radically transparent and building trust among the team are attitudes that always worked very good for me 🙌

Johana - as you well know - collaboration and communication are always the two areas with low scores in any employee engagement survey. So often upper management does not understand what their employees are trying to tell them and the tend to over-react with increased newsletters and bulletins etc. In our experience what the people are saying is the people I work with every day do not communicate with me well or work together with me. Upper management simply needs to make sure their employees are getting the training they need to support each other. This is usually not about them though most cannot see that!
