The Art Pinch Owing paintings are not just about aesthetics. It is a "yes" to the dreams of the artists who poured their hearts onto the canvas. It is about investing where creativity isn't just a hobby; it's a necessity. The money spent isn't just a transaction, but a vote of confidence. It fuels the artists' rent, their art supplies, and their next masterpiece. It gives them the courage to keep chasing their dreams. And the impact isn't bound to the artist's studio. It flows into the places that showcase their artwork. That painting hanging proudly on the wall will be more than a decoration. It will be a narrative of brushstrokes, a testament to the beauty that blooms when we support the artists who bring it to life. So, the next time you find a connection to a painting, remember: it's a chance to help your community, support the dreams of local artists, and bring a little bit of vibrancy into your home. #supportlocalartists #DreamsOnCanvas #empowerartisans #beyondthebrushstrokes #fromcanvastocommunity #vocalforlocal

HBL ART presents 'Once in a Blue moon' by Artist Ghayathri Desai! -Acrylic on Canvas -2018 -137.16 cm x 182.88 cm -€24,000 This artwork is available for SALE. Ghayathri Desai reiterates: "This painting has been inspired by the blue moon, a rare and powerful celestial phenomenon which manifested in 2018 and the moon turned a bluish colour. Indeed the Blue moon is considered to be auspicious as well as full of luck, magic and miracles. This period is a powerful time to set intentions, release negative energy and generate abundance as well as positivity in our lives. Furthermore, I have also depicted the conch shell emerging from the sea which signifies...luck, abundance, peace and prosperity coming into your home. In this connection, Ghayathri Desai's paintings are reflections and translations of a spiritual penchant mind into images expressed with a defined engagement of visual elements. Illumining the same fervour, her paintings are easily a visual journey, leading to a creative as well as a spiritual discovery. Preciseness is a defining part of her paintings. By keeping only to the essential elements, simplicity is one of the pivotal elements and qualities in her paintings. Her performative modes include style of form as well as playing with the colour palette in order to create a visual impact. By showcasing the themes from literary and visual sources, the artist treats the images with a celebrated sensuality. Given the above, Ghayathri's inherent belief in infinity reinforces the fact there is no finality in invoking the spiritual. As a result, each of her paintings illuminate a need and an yearning as well as an innate urge to attain the ever-higher level of mysticism, and most importantly connecting to the spiritual force within each human being. An artist can generate sentiments and peace of mind...and Ghayathri Desai is one such artist. Marwan Chamaa, “The 40th President”, 2024, acrylic on canvas, 30.48 x 30.48 cm (12 x 12 inch) The painting series “Bipartisan Vices” depicts portraits of ten cigar-smoking U.S. presidents, each represented without facial features, which removes their individual identities and emphasizes their shared roles and status. Despite their differing party affiliations, the series highlights the universal traits and behaviors that transcend political lines. Through faceless portraits with identical cigars, the series suggests that the indulgences and symbols of power associated with the presidency are common to all who hold the office. This artistic choice underscores the idea that beyond policy differences, there exist common vices and luxuries among leaders, reflecting the bipartisan nature of political power. It implies that certain aspects of leadership and power dynamics are enduring and unchanged over time. The uniformity of background colors and the composition of each portrait add to the aesthetic and thematic coherence of the series. The presidents can be identified without explicit features, emphasizing that certain traits, habits, or vices are shared universally among leaders. The inclusion of five Democratic and five Republican presidents underscores that these indulgences are not confined to one political party. www.MarwanChamaa.com ©2024 Marwan Chamaa #MarwanChamaa #Artist #Bipartisan #Vices #President #USA #Faceless #Xism #PopArt #NeoPopArt #Dada #NeoDada #ContemporaryArt #Gallery #ArtLovers #ArtScene #ArtCollectors #ArtWorld #Art #ArtWork #Painting #Beirut #WashingtonDC #NewYork #Paris #Tokyo #Berlin #GlobalCitizen #MakeLoveNotWar #ILoveFalafel Disclaimer: Artwork’s size may not represent the actual dimensions in the photomontage

#GHATCollection – Artwork of the Week Mary Paton - “Pond” (oil on canvas) This painting has been recently framed and glazed with perspex to provide better protection. Artwork around the hospital is exposed to many more chips and bumps than it might be on a gallery wall – so we take extra measures to ensure that it stays safe. For instance, we use perspex as it is less likely to break when bumped. We try not to use very deep frames as they can be caught on beds or cages, and unglazed paintings might be scraped or torn. There are unique challenges to showing artwork in a working healthcare environment, but it’s important that this isn’t an obstacle to making art a common fixture across NHS Grampian. #GHAT #grampianhospitalsarttrust #nhsgrampian #nhsg #artinhealthcare #artandwellbeing #aberdeen #aberdeenart #nhs #art #MaryPaton #collectioncare
