Hi Church Mutual employees. have any friends or acquaintances at GuideOne? Might want to reach out to see how this went. The gentleman who posted this seems to have only had administrative and Board positions in insurance. I could be wrong, but I do not see any operational experience, although he does seem to be supportive of the mutual company structure.
I will do A LOT more due diligence on him.
I heard the GuideOne thing did not work out that well for the employees. Also this new entity seems full up with people. So if they prop up CMG - and I know for a fact they have performed due diligence on you - and maybe float surplus notes - which is a signature move - keep me in mind and let's still put that employe buyout proposal together. I have been trying to talk to Matt Popoli at Bain to no avail. If they float those surplus noted based on what Ogilvie, Root, Williams, Marsha and others have told them, it will not end well. And their own investors may kick a bunch of people out.
I am working diligently on cases. Spoke to the FTC today, among others, and am being given guidance. All things I can very easily prove upon any discovery. And luckily I am protected by whistleblower status.
Also working on a method to help the Sales folks control their own books and gain equity doing so. Bain and Alan would never do that. (OK, maybe never is too long. If they were forced to, especially to combat me, they ight.) On September 4th, thanks to the cool folks at the FTC, non-competes are dead. And I will soon prove the confidentiality/non-disclosure clauses in all their "agreements" are BS. In fact, in a show of good faith, tomorrow I will post on here a copy of my own settlement agreement signed by Mike Smith with the approval of at least Alan Ogilvie and Rich Poirier. It also had a confidentiality/non-disclosure clause in it. Hah. For the record, when Rich & Alan pushed me out, CMV was worth $50 M by my estimationand $25 M by Alan's. Alan and I were to split 20% of that value, payable via a long term incentive plan. Had I not been pushed out it would be worth 6-10 times that amount. I will aso post the email from 2019 wherein I told them I would retire if they paid me about half what I was owed for the ongoing asset I had to leave, $4.25 M. They would never hear from me again, and I would be watching this dumpster fire from a sailboat with a Miller Lite in my hands shaking my head. You will see what I eventually had to settle for. Pretty sure, but I can not prove, at the last minute someone at CMG interfered with my deal with American Family. We were 30-45 days away from launching "CMV 2.0". So now, this...
Good luck. JB will be out here trying to have your back, the City of Merrill's back, and the Religious Institutions' backs. Because I can not find almost anyone else who gives a darn about all three...
