We've completed our Biotech Showcase presentation and are finding this year's event insightful when navigating current industry challenges filled with time for impactful networking.   Bob Linke, Osmol CEO, showcased our tremendous progress, including advancing our lead drug, OSM-0205, as we prepare for our first-in-human phase 1 clinical trial, for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and plans to be Phase 2 ready by the end of this year.   With OSM-0205, we hope to minimize CIPN and allow for more optimal chemotherapy dosing by protecting neurons from taxane associated damage, a condition that affects hundreds of thousands of cancer patients every year.   #JPM24 #biotechnology #BiotechShowcase #clinicaltrials #drugdevelopment #JPMWeek #JPMWeek24

Comparing activation methods to yield clinical-scale expansion of γδ #Tcells Some #Tcelltherapies have been approved to treat patients with conditions like #Bcellmalignancies and #multiplemyeloma, but their use for #solidtumors remains challenging. Gamma delta (γδ) T cells have the inherent ability to infiltrate solid tumors and kill transformed cells, but their low prevalence in peripheral blood poses a challenge when generating enough cells to produce a clinical dose.
