NEVER AGAIN !! Clarity and accuracy in contractual communications is paramount. Remember, "your backside isn’t clean unless it is wiped with paper." This is something I was told a long time ago and it might sound humorous, but it underscores a critical point: **document everything**. However, documents and records alone is only part of the equation, you must also follow the Contract. By adhering to the contract terms you can take great strides towards minimising and possibly preventing disputes and misunderstandings. Too often I see firms that have excellent records but have failed to issue adequate contractual communications, which has been a major contributing factor to the matters in issue.
