WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD AND EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL ELEVATOR TECHNICIAN To be a good and experienced electrical elevator technician, one should possess a combination of technical skills, knowledge, and personal attributes. Below are some qualities; 1. Understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and systems specific to elevators. 2. Having the Knowledge of mechanical components, such as gears, pulleys, and brakes. 3. Ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently. 4. Develop skills in installing new elevators and modernizing existing ones. 5. Willingness to work with different brands and models of elevators, as well as various settings (commercial, residential, industrial). 6. Strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents. 7.Ability to analyze problems and come up with effective solutions. Sometimes, innovative solutions are needed for complex issues. 8. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using modern diagnostic tools and software for elevator systems. Above all, what makes you standout is your communication skills. Which includes; Ability to communicate effectively with your team, employers and clients, explaining issues and solutions clearly. Also, maintaining a professional demeanor, being punctual, and showing respect to your superiors.
