🔧 "The Unsung Heroes of Vertical Transport" 🚀 In today's fast-paced world, elevator technicians are the backbone of our vertical cities. But what makes a great elevator technician? Here are the skills I believe are indispensable: First and foremost, technical expertise is crucial. An elevator technician must have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. This technical knowledge ensures they can diagnose and fix issues efficiently, keeping our elevators running smoothly and safely. Secondly, attention to detail cannot be overstated. Elevators are complex machines with many moving parts. A minor oversight can lead to significant problems, so meticulousness is key. This skill not only ensures the longevity of the equipment but also the safety of its users. Lastly, strong communication skills are essential. Whether it's explaining a problem to a building manager or coordinating with a team, clear and effective communication can make all the difference. It helps in managing expectations and ensuring that everyone is on the same page. Elevator technicians are indeed the unsung heroes who keep our buildings functional and safe. Their blend of technical prowess, attention to detail, and communication skills makes them invaluable in our urban landscapes. #Elevatorindustry #Elevators #Elevatorservice

🤣 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸? 👷 Well, I wouldn't call it like that. But as an maintenance electrician (or an "automation technician"), you might also be sometimes "the guy for everything". Such as taking Opossums out of your cabinets. 🤔 And something like this is happening (in my personal experience) more than some people might think. And from the perspective of an animal, that's just logical. 🔥 The socket of a control cabinet is relatively warm and (in particular) not often disturbed. Some cabinets are for sure not touched for several years, let alone have their sockets opened. 🔎 Unless, of course, you notice some issues - such as a fuse being constantly tripping. In such a case, you might certainly find some "surprises" there. 🧠 PS: Fun fact, we have some "safety contactors" in there. Red ones with fixed auxiliary contacts and no possibility for manual operation. Would be an interesting discussion, if the white "standard" ones are really necessarily worse in a technical sense and why... Credit: u/Matt92_pap, DM me for a specific attribution or removal

A Day-in-the-Life Story: Overcoming Challenges in Building Electrical Panels and Motor Installation "As an electrical technician, I've faced my share of challenges on the job. One project that comes to mind is when our team was tasked with building electrical panels and installing motors for a large industrial facility. The challenge: The facility's power requirements were complex, and the motor installation needed to be precise to ensure efficient operation. The solution: Our team worked closely with the client to understand their specific needs and designed custom electrical panels to meet those requirements. We also conducted thorough quality checks to ensure the motors were installed correctly and functioning optimally. The outcome: The client was thrilled with the result, and the facility's power system has been running smoothly ever since. Lessons learned: - Attention to detail is crucial in electrical work - Collaboration with clients is key to understanding their needs - Thorough quality checks can save time and money in the long run I'm proud of the work our team did on this project, and I'm always looking for new challenges to tackle. Share your own stories of overcoming challenges in the field - I'd love to hear them! #electricaltechnician #industrialElectrical #motorinstallation #electricalpanels"

Senior Technician Tower Cranes & Construction Hoist Mechanical | Erection | Maintenance | at REDCON Construction Co .S.A.E
One of the problems that occurs due to irregular voltage from the electric generator The strange thing is that this malfunction only occurred with a load of more than a ton, and it stopped and returned to work automatically as in the video We measured and reviewed all the electrical panel connections and found that everything was in order Returning to the electric generator, we found that the voltage drops to less than 170 if the hoist is loaded with more than a ton The electric generator was changed and the Hoist returned to working normally This was done with the help of a distinguished electrical technician ABANOUB WAGiH #Alimak #Hoists #AlimakGroub #ConstructionHoist #VerticalAccsessSolutions
