Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to do what I love most for an important cause. 🤘🏼🎸 Founded in 2009, Law Rocks is a chartiable organization that brings together badass and musically gifted legal professionals to raise money for local non-profits. What was once a stand-alone show is now an annual and international tour to do good. 🌎 In 2024, Law Rocks has raised over $7 million for local charities in 13 different cities across the globe! CTV ads and painting horses. 🐴🎨 Last week was Kargo’s annual sales offsite. The team traveled out to Scottsdale for two days of learning and fun team building activities ahead of a big year. Following several inspiring presentations about the future of the company and how we’ll get there, we hopped on a bus headed out into the desert for an activity none of us expected. Enter Hunkapi. Since 1999, Hunkapi Programs, Inc. has aided those suffering from traumas with a remarkable equine therapy program. This program helps heal, improve resilience, and decrease feelings of fear and anxiety while promoting healthy social engagement in a setting more dynamic than traditional therapy. The group covered reading body language and matching emotions. We talked through letting go and trusting those around you. We even had the chance to get up close and personal with these incredible animals: petting them, feeding them, and yes- painting them (with non-toxic paints of course). I’d be hard pressed to find a word other than “special” to describe this experience. What Hunkapi is doing is truly special- not only for those they help heal in unique ways, but those who work there and get to experience the magic daily. To me, Kargo carries a similar sentiment. The culture, the people that make it what it is, and the differentiated product we put out in market. Thank you, Hunkapi, for having us. A special thanks to our leadership and events teams for planning such seamless trips packed with unforgettable experiences. 🙏🏻
