I always hear that eDiscovery needs are lower now that we have AI solutions and vastly better technology. But interestingly its the opposite. The "exponential growth of digital data" is actually outpacing other factors. When I started around 2010, a massive review from a Fortune 100 company was like 100k documents (and we had eyes on every, single, document ugh). Now I'm helping small to mid size firms with hundreds of thousands of documents just in simple matters. It just feels like an interesting race between two technologies - AI and data culling vs. increased digital footprints.

Great perspective. Like a lot of doc review attorneys I am taking courses about AI, because at the end of the day, AI needs human operators to set parameters and supervise the outcome.
