Nominate them for a prize!   Wiley have launched Wiley Research Heroes Prize, a competition that gives researchers a chance to celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond their usual duties. Is there someone in your department, professional association, or lab who goes above and beyond their usual duties? Who puts in extra time, effort, and commitment to help others? Your research hero could be the person whose passion inspires you to keep investigating or the colleague who volunteers as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion champion in your organization. Another Inclusion mistake I see all the time: “Seeing what others are doing” then copying it. Everyone can tell you what they are doing. Very few can tell you if what they are doing works. If enough people tell you the same thing.. You may be convinced it’s a best practice. 🤔 It’s more likely to be a common practice. 🤔 This doesn’t make it effective. We tell our clients: gather evidence to solve specific challenges you care about. Make sure you include the following sources. - The Scientific literature  - Your Stakeholders  - Your organisation. Such an achievement is giving me a positive momentum to restart writing up new papers as a humble contribution to knowledge and attribution to my higher educational institution UNISL.

Like journals indexing and ranking (SCIE/WoS/Scopus, etc.) and their impact factor, whether we like it or not, or think it is accurate or not, all types of indexing and recognition, including World's Top 2% Scientests List, have their metrics with good and bad sides. However, it is important not to criticise those who celebrate their recognition. Unprecedented interest in the first academic paper published by Springer Nature Group counted in thousands of % hourly, indicating clearly the demand of the academia and researchers for fonder´s experience and expertise.
