Here's 35 days of results from finding the right co-founders for the business I'm building. 4 hours per day 4375 profiles looked in 2 platforms 1825 messages sent 337 responded 10 called 0 co-founders found. I'm expecting to send 20k-40k messages before finding the right ones. And that's okay. Because I only need to find 1-2 who are the perfect fit. This is just day 35 of a 4000-8000-12000+ day journey. My Vision for my business is deep, profound, meaningful, and simple: 1) Positively impact 1,000,000+ Businesses financially 2) Create an awesome place to work where our Team can call their home away from home Number 1 could mean anything from processing their payments, providing access to capital, helping a business keep track of their expenses better, etc. Number 2 is subjective, and some of my Team has told me it already feels that way. How we’ll get number 1 accomplished… I don’t exactly know, and I don’t have to know right now. What I do know is I’m never going to lose sight of my Vision and will relentlessly pursue it as long as I’m above ground. Most successful companies (especially Technology companies) started with a Vision, and their plan got rerouted multiple times. Market conditions change, new products get introduced, unexpected opportunities surface, etc. The Vision remains intact, clear, and motivating to everyone involved. Here’s what I’ve learned: There are millions of distractions and setbacks that can and will happen on our path to success. The more we fixate our actions and efforts on our big end goal, the better off everyone is, including ourselves. Keep going. 💪🏽
