MOJU hosted a rave in a Morrisons aisle and we’re here for it. As well as providing some much-needed laughs on a Tuesday morning Slack thread, MOJU’s announcement of their listing in Morrisons is a textbook example of challenger marketing done right. Here’s why we love it: 👉 Disruption: The ad reimagines the supermarket as a rave, catching viewers off guard and creating excitement in a space where an auidence wouldn’t expect it. 👉 Product Connection: The high-energy rave playfully links MOJU’s Ginger Shots with vitality, reinforcing the product’s core benefits through action-packed visuals. 👉 FOMO effect: Throughout the reel, we see ravers facetiming friends, hosting live streams and sharing the event on their socials, a fun take on the FOMO effect, that to be honest, we’re feeling while watching along! 👉 Inclusive Appeal: By featuring a diverse age range of participants in the rave, the ad appeals to a wide demographic of potential new MOJU customers, showcasing that their products are for all. 👉 Retailer Integration: By staging the rave in a Morrisons setting, MOJU creates a strong connection between the brand and the retailer. Making the reel a collaborative post ensures that the announcement lands with both MOJU’s and Morrisons’ audiences, driving awareness and foot traffic to the stores. Today is our Super Bowl for fireworks 💥 Two years ago my husband ventured into running three firework tents in Clarksville, TN. And even though they've been set up since June 22, 88% of his sales take place July 3-4. Here's what we've learned: ✅ People buy when they're ready ✅ If they didn't set up in advance, his sales would tank. Shoppers use that week and a half to shop prices at competing tents. ✅ Buyers will drive by that tent every day for two weeks without stopping, but that reminder is always there. This is brand awareness. This is necessary to get those sales on July 3-4. ✅ Buyers want EASY. My husband quickly learned that packaging up multiple items in a large grab bag is easier for the customer. They don't want to make decisions. They want help. ✅ Novelty items / kid items are an easy impulse buy and have the largest margins. ✅ Two weeks of your life takes the entire year to prepare for. From ordering tents, to buying generators, tables, securing locations, and shipping fireworks from China, it's a big operation. Happy Independence Day! Stay safe 🇺🇸

Look, we aren’t in this for the chocolates. But if anyone wants to bring us chocolates, then we will never complain. It would be rude. The whole team here at Radcliffe & Rust has one main goal, which is to ensure that we do our very best for every client who walks through our doors. We would love to say we get the result we want every single time, but that would be silly. Anyone who makes that claim is lying. What we can promise, though, is that we will listen to what you want to achieve and throw everything we have into making it a reality…and our success rate is pretty high. There is a good reason for that: we know the Cambridge market like the back of our hand, we love helping people achieve their dreams, and most importantly, we are passionate about what we do. It also helps that we have a great team with which to do it all. The only criticism we have about our team is that the distribution of chocolates isn’t always as fair as we would like…just saying. I’ll never forget one of our earliest (and busiest) days at our Aldridge store. Aldridge was the only Wingers shop at the time and we hadn't expanded as a franchise yet. It was a Saturday, and within just 5 hours, we pulled in £5k. Our biggest night yet. It was one of those surreal “pinch me” moments for my dad, brother and me when we realised that Wingers could be a seriously scalable business. But success doesn’t always come smoothly. That same day, as the orders kept flying in, so did complaints as the drivers couldn't keep up with the deliveries. I always find complaints hard to deal with as I want every customer experience to be a good one, they always feel a little bit personal. We got through the shift in the end, and that day taught me a valuable lesson: I can’t control everything that happens, but I can control how I react. Instead of getting lost in the chaos, or worrying about complaints we focused on what we could do to turn things around - communicating with customers, making things right where we could, and learning from the experience to prevent it from happening again. That hectic day marked a turning point for us. It was the moment we realised that Wingers had the potential to be something big. Today, we’ve grown to 12 stores across the UK, but that early experience in Aldridge still guides us. It’s a reminder that while we can’t always control the uncontrollable, we can always control our response. #BusinessGrowth #CustomerExperience
