I recently watched Inside Out 2 (no spoilers) and really enjoyed how they talked about the belief system and how it influences the way we take decisions. The movie summarises very well some points I learnt while completing my coaching diploma. ➊ Beliefs get formed throughout our lives. ➋ Beliefs influence emotions and those emotions influence our actions which determine the results. ➌ Beliefs can be positive or negative, acting as boosters or hindrance. ➍ Beliefs can be changed. ➎ Beliefs are connected to our identity and sense of self. ➏ Not feeling in sync with your beliefs might make you feel emotional distress.
