the infamous to-do-list 😌 *okay, as mentioned, overhauling my LinkedIn. going to add a Canva banner like the cool kids. looking to find icons for the tech stacks. figure this incentivizes me working on more tech stacks, too? but i'm going to make this a mini-project. *this week, I have done five apps so far. minor resume tweaks on each. [to Tom: haha, I didn't do a completely diff resume each time, just tweaked the summary blurb]. with my new dual browser set-up, I also mark the apped-to jobs on Teal. I love seeing the date populate. so much better than logging to an Excel spreadsheet! i will keep doing more, but i'm not going to beat myself up if i need a few coffee breaks. *i scanned the apps and applied language carefully wrt the resume. but i will continue to view this as a process. thanks for the feedback, by the way. *follow up w/Walter and, I believe, Sharon? about the project we discussed. We're tenatively discussing an app/working on it. I forked an open source project and am looking to do some work on it if I can figure my way around. I'm also thinking about DSA again. Big focus on all things React. Oh yeah, I guess I need PostgreSQL too, huh? PERN is big right now, it seems.

Being an entry level job seeker can be challenging. It's just not easy to break in to new industries. Neither is it easy to pivot or straddle several other non-competing roles. It's not easy, Yes. Is it possible? Yes. I fancy myself to be a polymath of some sort. I wear many hats. I work as a nurse and caregiver. I build WordPress Websites for businesses. I am an entrepreneur. I also work as a customer service representative. The goal is to keep growing cohesively. Looking for common ground, and leveraging on the exposure each opportunity gives. I also believe it puts at an advantage over others because you learn critical skills like time management, flexibility and problem solving. I feel making clones of other websites is a waste of time, like its good for practice but putting it in the resume does not make any sense. since all the code is available on youtube tutorials until you are not adding any new features, if you are adding a new feature then its ok because you are adding a value else its complete dumb project instead make projects which add some values and solve real life problems #stopmakingclones #projectdevelopment #webdevelopement #webdeveloper #frontenddeveloper #fullstackdeveloper #opinion
