Founder @PADMA SHAKTI FOUNDATION (PSF ),a development professional /Freelance trainer and Speaker, specialising in SRHR and Community Development.
As I prepare to vote on May 25th in Jharkhand, I find myself reflecting on my unique cultural journey. - My parents moved from Uttar Pradesh to Jharkhand, where my father worked in a copper mine, and I was born and raised in Jharkhand. - This dual heritage has shaped who I am today. - At home, we spoke Bhojpuri and celebrated festivals like Chhath and Jiutiya with great enthusiasm. - These traditions connected me deeply to my roots in Uttar Pradesh, even as I grew up embracing the vibrant culture of Jharkhand. - Now, living in the cosmopolitan city of Jamshedpur, I worry about my children. - Will they feel as connected to either Uttar Pradesh or Jharkhand’s cultures? - How can I ensure they appreciate and uphold our rich heritage amidst such diversity? Here are a few lessons I’ve learned about preserving and passing on our culture, like, - Celebrate Festivals Together: Participating in traditional celebrations is a wonderful way to teach children about their heritage. It’s not just about the rituals, but the stories and values behind them. - Language at Home: Speaking our native language at home helps children feel a strong connection to their roots. It’s a bridge to understanding their heritage. - Storytelling: Sharing stories about our ancestors, their struggles, and their achievements can instil a sense of pride and belonging in our children. - Cultural Activities: Engage in cultural activities like traditional dance, music, and crafts. These activities can be enjoyable and educational, making the learning process fun for children. - Community Involvement: Connecting with a community that shares your cultural background can reinforce these values and traditions. Regular interactions can provide a supportive environment for cultural learning. - Balancing Diversity: Embrace the diversity around us while staying rooted in our traditions. This balance can teach our children the beauty of India’s unity in diversity. In the end, it is this diversity that makes Bharat unique. By consciously preserving and celebrating our cultural heritage, we can ensure our children grow up with a strong sense of identity and belonging. 🇮🇳 As we celebrate Independence Day, let’s reflect on the true essence of freedom. We speak of 'Viksit Bharat' and take pride in our rich culture and history. Yet, it’s essential to acknowledge the basic tenets of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs—shelter, food, and safety. Without these foundational elements, how can we truly thrive as a nation? Before we invite the world to experience the beauty of India, let’s ensure that every citizen feels safe and secure. Let’s cross the basics first—provide shelter, ensure food security, and most importantly, guarantee safety. Only then can we elevate our discourse to the higher ideals of growth, innovation, and cultural exchange. This Independence Day, let's pledge to strengthen our foundation and build a Bharat that is not just beautiful, but also safe and secure for every individual. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳 #IndependenceDay #MaslowsHierarchy #SafetyFirst #IndiaAt77 #ViksitBharat #BasicNeeds #NationBuilding #JaiHind #SocialResponsibility #SecureIndia

It is important that our good deeds by the name of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar reaches every part of the Nation because our vision encapsulates the betterment of the Nation as a whole and not just a particular region. It should include every city, town and district. This brings about a wider impact in the growth and betterment of the Nation by gathering like-minded people at all levels. We, at Sankalp Bhoomi, are optimistic in terms of creating a positive impact all over the country as our policies include the well-being of the entire Nation, and significant changes in all aspects like lifestyle and education, even at grassroot-level. Celebrating Gandhi Jayanthi: A Tribute to the Father of Our Nation Today marks the 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, a day observed as a National Holiday in India and celebrated worldwide as the International Day of Non-Violence. At SwaaS Systems Pvt Ltd, we are driven by a simple belief: Technology can change lives for the better. One of the famous quotes from Ghandhiji resonates with our mission: "The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problems." We believe that our daily work routine is just a beginning. Every line of code, every deliverable we create, we ensure we bridge the gap between what the needs are, what exists and what it could be. Each day presents us with the chance to harness our skills to drive meaningful change, whether through innovative solutions, promoting sustainability, or enhancing accessibility. Together, we can turn our capabilities into actions that make a real difference!! #GandhiJayanthi #155YearsOfGandhi #InternationalDayOfNonViolence #SwaaSITSolutions
