In 2025, productivity isn't just a buzzword—it's becoming the defining factor between market leaders and followers. Recent data from Vistage reveals a striking reality: while most CEOs are investing in productivity initiatives, only 37% are seeing meaningful improvements. Yet, the companies that get it right are reaping extraordinary rewards: 72% report revenue growth and 63% see increased profitability. With rising economic uncertainties, including escalating tariffs and growing U.S. government deficits, waiting on the sidelines is no longer a viable strategy. The most successful organizations are taking decisive action now, focusing on four critical areas: strengthening employee engagement, accelerating workforce development, optimizing processes, and maximizing technology utilization. The question isn't whether to prioritize productivity—it's how quickly you can transform your operations to do more with less. While your competitors are already making these strategic shifts, every day of delay widens the performance gap. What steps is your organization taking to enhance productivity in 2025? If you would like to share this type of issue and others with a group of senior management peers, I and many other Vistage Chairs stand ready to make such an affiliation possible. #CEOLeadership #ExecutiveStrategy #CxOLife #CSuite #SeniorLeadership #ProductivityGrowth #BusinessStrategy2025 #CorporateExecution #ExecutiveSuccess #BusinessPerformance #OperationalExcellence #ExecutiveProductivity #LeadershipInnovation #CorporateTransformation #ProcessOptimization #ExecutiveDecisions #StrategicLeadership #CompetitiveAdvantage #CorporateResults #BusinessEfficiency #OrganizationalSuccess #ExecutiveManagement #BoardroomStrategy #LeadershipExcellence #SeniorExecutive

I have been talking about Productivity in many respects for most of this year, though very pleased to see this article, https://lnkd.in/gyqm3HCu by Joe Galvin today. It is worth a read for sure, therefore I shall not labour the key points. Thank you Michael Clark for making me aware of it! Following are 2 paragraphs that I extrapolated that outlines growth and culture, which ultimately drives growth. Share this with your C-levels as #workforceanalytics according to the analyst community is targeted at number 3 of most important projects in 2025. Per Vistage’s most recent quarterly survey of small-and midsize-business CEO’s revealed that while the majority of CEO’s are investing in productivity strategies, only 37 percent report increased employee productivity. However, companies that achieve higher productivity reap significant rewards, including increases in profitability (63 percent), revenue growth (72 percent), and even employee retention. The takeaway is clear. Productivity is directly linked to profitability, revenue growth, and employee retention, making it a critical focus area for businesses aiming to stay ahead in a competitive landscape. Building a culture of productivity begins with a commitment to continuous improvement. Organizations must cultivate an environment that celebrates small, consistent advancements, turning them into a foundation for sustained growth. Leadership plays a crucial role in this process, as CEOs must align organizational resources to support this culture and instill a growth mindset throughout the company. When employees see progress being valued and supported, they are more likely to invest in their roles and contribute discretionary effort, ultimately driving innovation and company growth. Successful leaders understand that building a productive organization requires a holistic approach centred on employee engagement, workforce development, process optimization, and effective technology utilization. By addressing these areas proactively, companies can achieve lasting success and be well-positioned to capitalize on opportunities when the next growth cycle begins. Productivity will remain a cornerstone of thriving workplaces in 2025 and beyond. With the right strategies in place, leaders can unlock the many benefits of productivity. #ProHance #CEO #hybridworking #mentalwellbeing #remoteworking #overtimecosts #Latentcapacity #outsourcedservices #ITestimationmodel #Equitableworkloaddistribution #Righttodisconnect #burnout #talentshortage #righttimetohire #earlyquitting #quitequitting

"However, the first mindset shift involves moving away from thinking either/or and toward win–win scenarios. It’s not that we either treat the employees nicely or the organization wins. We moved away from that for customers as well. It’s actually OK to do everything we can for customers in order for the organization to win. The same should be true for the employees, because both customers and employees are really important components of creating value. The second mindset shift involves understanding that employees actually like to work, if the work is done correctly. Many leaders assume that workers are incentivized by money alone. Again, 100-plus years of scientific management have inculcated that concept in our brains. Yet people are motivated by much more than money, and it’s important to realize that. Customer centricity is not only about lowering the price. It’s about improving the customer experience. Similarly, employee centricity is not only about increasing the wage. It’s much more about increasing the employee experience. As a result, cost per unit actually goes down because productivity increases. Innovation goes up, turnover goes down, and happy employees also make for happy customers." #Talento #Experienciadelempleado #Cliente #Experienciadelcliente #Experienciasmemorables #Compromiso

Embracing the Shift: Preparing Leaders for the Future of Work The workplace is transforming before our eyes. Gone are the days when simply counting heads defined organizational success. Today's leaders must think differently, adapting to a dynamic landscape shaped by automation, technology platforms, and a diverse workforce of full-time and gig workers. Drawing from years of working with forward-thinking organizations, I've learned that agility isn't just a buzzword—it's a survival strategy. Here's a roadmap to help you navigate this exciting terrain: 1. Redefine Productivity Look beyond headcount. Measure what truly matters: output per employee and task completion rates. These metrics reveal the real impact of your team and the power of intelligent automation. 2. Put Customer Value Front and Center Your success is measured by the value you deliver. Track revenue per employee and customer satisfaction scores. These aren't just numbers—they're a testament to your team's effectiveness and your organization's health. 3. Streamline for Success Automation isn't about replacing people—it's about empowering them. Monitor cost savings and process improvements. Every efficiency you create is an opportunity to redirect talent towards more strategic, creative work. 4. Build a Connected Workforce In today's fragmented work environment, connection is currency. Break down barriers between full-time employees and gig workers. Use engagement surveys and utilization rates to create a unified, motivated team that transcends traditional boundaries. 5. Make Innovation Your North Star Keep pushing boundaries. Track new product introductions and R&D investments. In a world of rapid change, innovation isn't optional—it's your competitive edge. This isn't just about adapting to change—it's about leading it. By embracing these modern metrics, you'll not only future-proof your organization but also create a workplace that's dynamic, responsive, and genuinely exciting. #FutureOfWork #Leadership #BusinessGrowth #Innovation The revised version maintains the core insights while adding a more conversational, inspirational tone. We often talk about productivity as the key to success—but have we stopped to consider why it matters so much? At its core, productivity isn't just about output; it's about creating workplaces where people feel empowered, purposeful, and supported to do their best work. (Thank you Burak Koyuncu, PhD, who often challenges me to think deeper and find my "why." I don't tell you this often, but your insights continue to push me toward meaningful reflection) As we approach 2025, people-first strategies are becoming essential. Studies by Gallup reveal that companies putting people at the centre of their culture are 4x more likely to drive higher revenue. Yet, according to a report from the OECD - OCDE, workforce productivity globally has only grown by 2% over the past century, despite billions invested in tools and systems. What's missing? Purpose, trust, and autonomy. Organisations that succeed in navigating today's challenges don't rely on one-size-fits-all approaches. Instead, they focus on fostering collaboration, enabling career clarity, and creating meaningful opportunities for growth—both for individuals and teams. These strategies aren't about adding more processes but embedding purpose into every moment that matters. 👉 Explore insights on productivity in 2025: Why Productivity Will Rule the Workplace in 2025: https://lnkd.in/eS29-QqP I found this article thought-provoking, as it offers snippets into the evolving landscape of productivity and highlights the strategies organisations need to adopt to remain competitive and thrive in the future workplace. Did you know? 🔹Disengaged employees cost US businesses $450-550 billion annually (Bureau of Labor Statistics). 🔹21st-century workers prioritise purpose and autonomy over traditional benefits (Harvard Business Review). 🔹Adaptive learning cultures are key to achieving work-life integration and employee satisfaction. As organisations shift from top-down initiatives to human-centred strategies—the kind that empower teams to succeed in today's evolving workplace, how are you preparing for the future of work? #FutureOfWork #TalentMobility #LeadershipDevelopment #EmployeeEngagement #TeamEffectiveness
