Charles Carmakal, CTO of Mandiant (part of Google Cloud), recently shared his insights on the CDK Global cyberattack with John Dickerson of CBS News, which has led to nearly $1 billion in losses. Although several intrusion methods can be used in cyber attacks, phishing remains the most common tactic, including with malware and ransomware incidents.
