In my mind, I felt like the main character of the show.
While in reality, I was just an immigrant with a big dream…
Here’s how it all went:
Age 19-23:
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
I left my home country of Nigeria and landed in Washington D.C for a new life and for graduate school.
Tackling the challenges of being an international student without the option for student loans.
Balanced academics by working as a help desk support analyst to fund education and living expenses.
Age 25-27:
Successfully completed graduate school and secured a position in the corporate world.
Age 31-34:
Ventured into the financial services business, marking the beginning of a transformative period.
Met Leslie Awasom, CRNA, a pivotal business partner in the entrepreneurial journey.
Age 35-37:
Co-founded XSITE Capital Investment, with Leslie Awasom, CRNA
a venture that would redefine the path forward.
Welcomed our CEO Julius Kunle Oni, M.D. FAOA board as a partner, a strategic move that set the stage for significant developments.
Invested passively in a $34M deal in Mareeta GA.
Closed the first deal as a General Partner, acquiring a substantial investment for $19M.
In 2022, did a $60M transaction where we bought three deals and sold (went full cycle on a deal) and raised $32M in the process.
Achieved a remarkable full cycle on the initial deal, delivering an impressive ~30% Annualized Average Return to investors.
Age 38 - Present:
Launched XSITE Academy, a collaborative effort with partners, contributing to the realm of knowledge sharing.
Aiming to close a $200M deal, signaling the commitment to continuous growth.
Looking ahead to 2024:
Focusing on mentorship, with plans to guide 20 aspiring students seeking insights into building a private equity firm.
There’s still time to fulfill the rest of the goals for 2024.
How are you feeling so far?
P.S.
