😎 Let's talk about Maura Bonelli, Business Development Manager in Joinrs 😎 She has worked for more than 8 years in Italian and International startups and scaleups, all sharing the mission of bringing innovation to companies. Engineer by training and Sales by passion for almost 20 years, in her spare time she loves going to the theater, playing sports, reading novels and taking long walks at the seaside, where she lives with her husband and two children. She used to act in the theater with her theater company and write short stories, who knows, maybe one day she will resume doing so 😉

I recently played a key role in scaling Sendlane's partner programs. Here are 4 pivotal lessons from this journey: 🖊️ Align with Visionaries: Choose partners who share your future-focused mindset. 🖊️ Empowerment is Key: Provide partners with the right tools and knowledge for mutual success. 🖊️ Relationships over Transactions: Forge partnerships are based on trust and mutual growth, not just numbers. 🖊️ Data-Driven Adaptability: Use insights to continually refine our strategies for relevance and impact. Scaling partnerships at Sendlane isn't just about numbers. It's about building an ecosystem where everyone grows together.

I help founders raise capital | International Pitch Coach | 8xTEDx Speaker Coach | Storytelling expert | Impact Investor | Communication Specialist
The other day, I was chatting with a friend who's been pitching non-stop for weeks. She was frustrated, hating the 3-minute format because she couldn't figure out how to cram in all the feedback from investors and mentors. I get it—it's a common frustration. How do you address the problem, solution, customer segment, finances, etc., in just 3 minutes? My advice? Start with a story. Tell a story about the customer, the problem they're facing, and how much money they're losing because of it. A story doesn't have to be long. A 30-second, super short, and simple story can: - save you a lot of time - create emotions - makes your product more understandable much faster —————— ♻️ Repost if you find this helpful ❤️ if you agree with this

After a fulfilling & meaningful 5 years, my Lattice chapter comes to a close. I joined as an SDR in San Francisco at our 40 person Series A startup, and closed my chapter in London as an Upmarket Account Executive of what became a 600+ person Series F Unicorn 🦄 What a journey it’s been 🚀 Thought I’d share a quick learning from each year: 📈 Year 1: Take control of what's in your grasp. Results flow when you focus on your efforts, not just others’ outcomes. 💪 Year 2: Embrace the trio - grace for the growing pains, grit to summit new heights, and gratitude for every step, person, and lesson. 🤔 Year 3: Carve out time for introspection. Get creative; challenge the norms. What got us here won’t take us there. When the front door is closed, climb through the window. 🗺 Year 4: Take big risks for big rewards (or lessons); my move to London reshaped my approach and perspective. The jump across the pond challenged me to think bigger & bolder to find new ways to be successful in new markets and new cultures. ⚖ Year 5: Balance work and life; find joy outside of the professional realm. Balance between the two opens space for success in both. Thank you Brian Strubbe & Dini M. for taking a chance on me 5 years ago. Thank you Justin King, Riki Newton, John S., and Kendra Berner for teaching me nearly everything I know about sales. Thank you Seth Kramer for bringing me to London & for always pushing me to reach new heights. Thank you to each of my colleagues, too many to tag here, who also became dear friends outside of work, I appreciate each and every one of you. Onwards 🚀

At the Menlo Ventures CEO Summit where Paul Daversa shared wisdom on hiring legendary talent: 3Ps: Candidates care about Passion, Prestige, and Prosperity, even if they don’t directly tell you. What’s “prosperity”? No one’s joining your company just because it’s cool. They’re thinking about their children and a shot at generating wealth 4Hs: Candidates want to feel that you are Honest, have Humility, are Hungry, have Hustle (also key candidate traits) In your first meeting you are mostly selling. But in later rounds, some revealing interview questions: - Who are your mentors? (aka are you in the orbit of top talent) - What’s a near-terminal mistake you’ve made? - What was your biggest setback and how’d you recover? - What’s the biggest misconception about you? - What’s the biggest impact you’ve made? - Pull back the curtain on how you manage your week? + Many more gems of wisdom. Thanks Paul for the straight talk!

I completed Jason Calacanis' Founder University! I can't sing enough praises about this pre-accelerator, but here were my top 3 favorite takeaways: 1. Incredible people and talent across the board, from Presh Dineshkumar and Kelly Schricker leading the program (along with many others from Launch), to all of the others founders in our cohort. Jason was very involved and you learn so much in such a short time. 2. They touch on the best practices and everything that you need to know to start a (venture backed) company with weekly meetings. There is so much asynchronous content that you can deep dive as well, and they summarize everything really well for quick absorption. 3. Having started a few companies before, I learned the most from the legal sessions, and you get great access to top notch legal, financial and other business service providers. If you are interested in joining the next cohort, let me know, and I will connect you with the team.
