September 2014: Our brand is relatively unknown for local PR practitioners. With such a demanding audience, we are aware that it will take us time to gain their trust. After a few months of hard work, we’re launching the MVP version of our product and we’re struggling with encouraging PR people to meet us and learn more about it. That being said, we’re asking ourselves: How to reflect our core value of helping PR people save their time for more demanding tasks in reality? We feel we know the answer and after a few days, with a limited budget of 40 usd, we’re turning ourselves into taxi drivers and allowing them to book us for a ride (Uber didn’t even exist in Poland back then). We’re taking them from their workplace to client meetings, to home after work and the other side. We’re even taking the challenge to help one journalist arrive for his editorial duty at 3 am. And pitching our product during the ride :) During 4 days of the campaign, inside one taxi cab sponsored by iTaxi (Lech Kaniuk, Stefan Batory 😘) we manage not only to meet with almost 30 PR practitioners, but to win incredible relationships. People are bringing us lunch, coffee and desserts to the cab, positve vibes are hard to reflect in words. When it comes to numbers, we’re noting over 10k views, 2k users and 75% new sessions that are turning in 150 new trial registrations on our product page. At the same time our social media channels are getting crazy - over 50k reach, 1.4k likes, 400 comments, shares and mentions. All in 4 days, with 40 usd budget. = November 2023: We felt fearless back then. We now feel this campaign was ahead of its time. We were brave and creative back then, and trust me, we still are. #StayCreative #StayProwly #throwback
