Take your job/business/new role/new ventures. “””You succeed more when you don’t take the probability of failure into account!””” In the initial days of my management journey many people guided - don't do management, stick to core tech for more stability, and shared some of their failed experiences as well . ….. But the catch is, my schedule was so tight that I barely got time to think about it or listen to it. The outcome was — > I was able to lead beautiful teams. > I managed better timelines. > I was able to make fewer promises and overdeliver . > Plus, I was able to enjoy my work. Sometimes following your gut does wonders . Stick to it and keep moving . #management #teams #managingteams #followyourpassion #followyourdreams #managingteams #journey #motivation #womanintech

Having personal experience growing and scaling teams at an aggressive pace, I can attest to the importance of nailing down #humanistic -centered concepts for #scalingTeams. Lindsay is on the cutting edge of an area of #businessOperations that is more important now than ever before. As good ol' Ben Franklin once said, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Avoid the pain (and wastage) and get ahead of your team scaling needs.
Very cool thing to be on Intro! alongside other inspiring top founder experts, shark tank contestants, and fabulous creators from successful companies like Zillow, Drybar, Reddit, Inc., and Nextdoor, to mention a few! Hi LinkedIn! I'm Lindsay 👋🏼 I specialize in humanistic generative scaling for scaleups on their way to Series C+ as well as mid-size companies. With over 20 years leading and executing organizational transformations in F500 and major growth brands, through the complexities of rapid and large scale, I focus on integrating humanistic capacities and generative change, with business expansion. As the founder of human as usual, I help scaleups break the known cycle of failure and risks that stems from premature or reactive scaling, which results in internal human tensions affecting investor confidence, organizational alignment, adaptable operations, and inspiring leadership. If you are a founder, co-founder, C-suite leader, or investor who is not only looking for growth, but also for a way to embed profound, humanistic values within your organization, here are a few things we can talk about during our 1:1 sessions: ➡ Leadership and management gaps as it relates to humanistic values, decision-making, and strategic alignment ➡ Operational bottlenecks derived from fast or reactive scaling ending in burnout and insufficient infrastructure ➡ Integration complexities that can be disruptive to multiple stakeholders ➡ Mismatch of skills and values resulting from hiring new talent too quickly, unpredictable turnover, or potential decline in morale ➡ Ethos dilution fragmenting the team culture that could have been cohesive and inspiring otherwise You can find me on Intro or simply by accessing this invite: intro.co/LindsayRuiz Happy to be in your corner! 💙 #letshaveanintro

Helping founders build the psychological mindset to lead #founders #leadership #executivecoaching #startups #entrepreneurship
"The day I hired my first C-suite exec team, I felt more inadequate than ever," my founder coaching client said to me. Two years after bootstrapping her company from nothing, she now had to lead seasoned professionals who'd managed teams larger than her entire company. Imposter syndrome hit her like a ton of bricks. She was at the the point of questioning her self-worth. This intimidating feeling is common among founders once they raise growth stage funding. There's a new team, often more accomplished and experienced than the founder. HERE'S HOW SHE WORKED HER WAY THROUGH IT: - She first acknowledged that the feeling was normal. - She started reframing it as a sign of growth. - The execs were there to complement her vision, not replace it. I reminded her that her strength was the founder's perspective from her zero-to-one journey that only she understands. She didn't have to be the best at everything. She hired them. She built this. She wasn't an imposter - she was just evolving and so were they. TAKEAWAY: Her discomfort was actually the feeling of your company leveling up.

Stepping onto the stage with a message for leaders and startups: Building a team from scratch isn't just about gathering talent; it's about creating a culture. When you're piecing together a new team, the foundation isn't the skill set—it's the mindset. The first brick? Trust. Without it, even the most skilled teams can crumble. Cultivating an environment where mistakes are seen as growth opportunities is key. And as for navigating the waters of inter-departmental relations with a team still finding its footing? Empathy. Understanding that every department has its battles helps forge alliances, not just connections. I'm gearing up to share these insights and more at an upcoming open mic session for team leaders and company execs. My journey with multicultural, start-from-scratch teams has been a rollercoaster of learning and unlearning. I'm keen to hear your stories too. How have you built your teams? What worked, and what would you do differently? Stay tuned for a deep dive into my presentation post-event, where I'll share my experience and learnings. Let's start a conversation. Share your team-building stories or strategies below. Together, we can redefine what it means to build a team from the ground up.

Founder and CMO @ resonaX.ai (Helping b2b founders & marketers to really get to know their ideal customers and create marketing experiences that resonate and convert better) #buildinginpublic #marketing #AI #b2b
If you're struggling to build a high-performing team that actually enjoys coming to work, this is for you. After 12+ years in leadership, I've cracked the code of creating teams that deliver exceptional results while having fun. The secret? It's what I call the "Passion-Play-Produce" approach: - Hire people who genuinely love what they do - Foster a team environment that encourages creativity and fun - Align team goals with delivering massive value to the organization It's that simple. When these three elements come together, magic happens. For startups and scale-ups, this approach is particularly powerful. It creates a magnetic culture that attracts top talent and fuels rapid growth. Passion + Play + Production = Unstoppable Teams Give it a try! When everyone's having fun AND crushing their goals, trust me, you'll wonder why you didn't do this sooner. (P.S. Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too. In fact, I encourage it – especially if it's during a team celebration!) ----- 👋 Follow Swati Aggarwal for more content on B2B marketing! Repost ♻️ if this landed with you! #b2bmarketing #MarketingThatResonates

I recently shared that one of my favorite parts about working at Amplitude is the fact that despite being a public company, it still feels like a startup. And I think one of the key reasons for that is the high sense of ownership that everyone here has. Ownership is one of our core company values, and I love being able to see it in action every day. I share more below:
