Cast Iron for non-condensing, Cast aluminum & Stainless Steel for high efficiency/condensing boiler technology. Our SlimFit cast aluminum boiler has a lot more heat transfer pins than the cast iron section, allowing us to achieve higher efficiencies. Plus, we've changed the placement of the combustion chamber to the top of the boiler, allowing for a much larger surface area for heat transfer and increased thermal efficiency. The stainless steel vertical fire-tube heat exchanger also has the combustion chamber on top, providing a larger area for heat transfer.
