Terrific to be invited by the Drone Delivery Group to deliver a presentation at their annual conference today, on cross-domain safety assurance of automated mobility. A vibrant discussion including industry, Government and research with a clear focus on the potential for cross-domain learning and activity. With the introduction of evermore complex systems comes evermore pressing challenges. Chief among these that of assuring safety. WMG’s Cross-Domain Safety Assurance report outlines opportunities for land-air-marine to address similar challenges together including adopting an ODD based scenario assurance methodology and the need for a common approach to the validation of virtual testing environments.
