🌟 Reflecting on an Inspiring Week at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2023 with Tencent! 🚀 What an incredible week at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2023! 🇸🇬 As the curtains close on this year's SFF, I've absorbed as much as I can on the insightful discussions, innovative ideas, and amazing people I had the privilege to connect with. A special shoutout to Elevandi for their groundbreaking contributions and collaborative spirit throughout the event. It's evident that the convergence of technology and finance is shaping the future of the industry. Their commitment to putting together the right folks to have the right conversations about the stuff that matters is truly commendable. Gabriel Lee Sibin Chan Jaskaran Bhalla Pat Patel 🙏 Here are some key takeaways that resonated with me: 1️⃣ Expect disruption: AI LLMs (ChatGPT etc.) have given all of us a peek into the possibility of this radical innovation. Now everyone is paying acute attention to AI's potential. Thoroughly enjoyed the conversations throughout the week from AI experts on the potential of this technology but also the pitfalls that could arise as well. 2️⃣ Collaboration is Key: The spirit of collaboration was palpable. Engaging discussions, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative initiatives underscore the importance of working together. SGQR+ and the launch of SG/MY, SG/ID real-time/QR payments are making people's lives more convenient and only possible with commitment and a collaborative spirit. 3️⃣ Empowering the Future and Inclusivity: Beyond the impressive technologies, there was a shared commitment to empowering individuals and businesses (MSMEs in particular). Fintech is not just about transactions; it's about transforming lives, and Tencent's vision aligns seamlessly with this ethos. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this week unforgettable! It was also very nice to see familiar faces around. Let's stay connected, and keep innovating! 加油!("jiayou" is an expression in Chinese which loosely translates to "you can do it!" or "press on!")
It’s a wrap on another great Singapore Fintech Festival. We enjoyed the exchange of insights on inclusivity in finance and how #fintech can facilitate sustainable economic development. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, attended a panel discussion, and made the event successful with your ideas and enthusiasm. See you again in 2024! #SFF2023
