I talked to a client last week whose first #multifamily syndication had 40+ investors--he told me he spent more time answering questions and managing partners than on the real estate deal itself. I think the lesson is to be careful how many partners you have on a deal and to remember that partners (even limited partners) are relationships that have to managed and maintained--and will take time.
