I researched interviewees for this compelling and insightful oral history of greyhound racing at Wimbledon stadium. Its another project by digital:works in collaboration with Wimbledon in Sporting History. I think it is story telling of the highest order and so more compelling because of the authenticity of those telling their stories. A lesson perhaps for PR and marketing. #greyhoundracing #wimbledonstadium #oralhistory https://lnkd.in/ecDn7xfQ

Important things I've learned with horses #172: WAIT. When we present something to a horse, WAIT for them to think about it and follow. We might not get what WE WANT in the immediate moment, but our horse will get what THEY NEED - time to think. #horsemanshiptips #relationalhorsemanship #horsetraining #dontgetgreedy #leadershiptips #positiveleadership

We know, we know, there’s a special day for everything under the sun, but this one’s different here at Blue Blaze—July 15 is I LOVE HORSES DAY! Our founders thought a lot about how to create a brand with long legs that would carry our team and clients forward, so saddle up and read on to learn about the origin of our curious Blue Blaze horse: bit.ly/3y6fBYO #netde, #purposedrivenbusiness, #makingadifference, #marketingcommunications #companyvalues

Equestrian Relationships & Personal Coach | supporting and guiding individuals to reconnect with their authentic self, and cultivate regulated, reciprocal relationships with themselves, their horse and beyond.
It’s all of our responsibility ♥️ We need to shift the equestrian world. From a place of shame, blame and judgement to safety, support and commitment to being better. Only then can we create safer spaces for our horses! And how do we do that? By looking in the mirror. We ALL need to start getting comfortable with looking deeper into what we need to take responsibility for, what no longer serves our horses, what we need to change for our relationships. For our horses to be heard, first the world must be committed to listening. And that starts with YOU, it starts with ME. Let’s hold. Let’s transcend drama, let’s first look in the mirror and standing for our horses even when it means embracing uncomfortable truths underneath. Even when it means seeing parts of ourselves we don’t like. Drop drama, and instead embody change ♥️ #equestrianrelationships #equestrianlifestyle #horsebond #horsetrust

🌼 Voice Over Actor, Narrator, Podcast/Radio Show Guest Warm. Natural. Friendly. Versatile. Commercial | Medical Narration | Corporate Narration | Explainer Videos | eLearning Faith-Based & Non-Profits
🌼 Is it time for a truce? On the daily, Burke races out the back door and to the fence, fur bristling on her neck and back, and viciously defends our yard, chastising Henry (“our” Great Blue Heron), for daring to be on OUR side of the pond. Of course, Henry squawks his retort and flies off, returning only after Burke has meandered back to her indoor retreat. But today, it looks like Henry decided he was done being bullied and bossed around by Burke. Henry was the louder of the two in their exchange today and after briefly retreating...decided he'd had enough of this. “Not today Burke!” I think I heard him say. Maybe it was Burke’s half-hearted barks. She just didn’t seem that into doing her job today. And now she’s paid the price... ...or maybe Henry realized that he's the one with the power. He's not held back by a fence. And even if he was fenced in, he could just fly away. Today, Henry finally stood his ground. And it even appears there may have been some playful, friendly repartee there at the end. Maybe we can all get along, overcome challenges, and see others in a new light. Need a new perspective? Have a great Monday!! (**Please excuse me if I don't interact much today: I'm on an airboat chasing alligators.) 🌼❣️ Have a project that requires Voice Over?
