Here’s where I think companies are missing the mark: Entire departments have been built to grow company culture and leaders. Billions of dollars invested to have teams remember their mission. Mission statements tagged with changing the world, but employees feeling uninspired. Last night we were invited to celebrate with our customer of 8 months and heard: Stories of how an organization went from 2 people to nearly double digits in 8 months. Helpline center workers share their impact of helping thousands of people around the globe. Talks of personal struggles and fights that led them to find the org in the first place. The impact that a 50% growth in website traffic has had on the organization. No fancy strategies. Just a heck of a lot of gratitude. Cheers to the incredible growth that Kristen Portland and the ANAD team has had in the last year. And the nearly 350K people they impacted along the way. It makes the work we do at Pulse that much more impactful. P.S. - Next time I forget to take a picture of an event, I owe someone a coffee.
