🐸 Have you heard of the boiling frog fable? 🐸 If not, here’s how it goes... if you put a frog in boiling water, it will immediately jump out but if you put the frog in tepid water and gradually bring the water to boil, the frog will not perceive the growing danger and will be cooked to death. While we can’t support the veracity of this claim, the metaphor aptly describes the inability or unwillingness of people to react to gradually rising threats. As it turns out, many of us aren’t faring much better than the frog. We have all grown up with technology, using multiple devices, troubleshooting computer problems at home, and even setting up home networks. So it is natural to feel comfortable around technology at work. However, the technical complexities of the office infrastructure are exponentially higher than that of home networks due to the large number of devices, applications, and technologies used. It’s getting hotter and you don’t realize it until your lone IT person bails or you have a major security breach. Thankfully, the situation doesn’t need to be so dire. The typical IT challenges that small to medium businesses face can be solved by using a Managed IT Services provider. In this article, we will talk about managed IT services and the role they can play in your organization's success.

Say hello to CandaceMae! CandaceMae is excited to work with EcoWater SoCal where she focuses on core solutions, embodying honesty, care, and respect. Her proactive approach and investigative mindset aid in being a solution provider. Her energy is fueled by enhancing and facilitating smooth operations, overseeing special projects, managing software systems, streamlining processes, assisting in administrative and marketing functions, fostering employees' skill development, and nurturing vendor relationships. Creating inviting workspaces and implementing effective processes brings her great joy. The best compliment CandaceMae received at work was being told she was making a positive difference in workplace culture, raising the bar, and enhancing efficiency. All of these create an inviting workplace! CandaceMae is passionate about nurturing relationships with colleagues, vendors, and customers alike; ensuring they feel heard and valued. There's joy in being appreciated by peers - we all desire to be known, loved, wanted, and needed. Her superpower is having words of encouragement that uplift you at the moment, especially with your hidden concerns. An unknown talent is event hosting and interior decorating, reflecting her knack for creating organized spaces. When looking for a snack around the office, CandaceMae prefers something healthy: like apples, oranges, nuts, and trail mix with dark chocolate. When asked what her spirit animal would be, CandaceMae identified with a lion. Her red hair, boldness, and courage reflect the characteristics of a lion. Her relationship with Jesus also contributes to this choice. "His Spirit lives within me." Isaiah 54:5, 63:16, and Jeremiah 31:9. reinforce her connection to the lion. Outside work, CandaceMae enjoys motorcycle rides, gardening, studying scripture, and the companionship of friends over a meal or experiencing outdoor adventures together. When asked about providing an inside perspective to customers, CandaceMae refers to the many customer reviews that come in daily. "Customers routinely mention our excellence in customer service, friendliness, encouragement, product knowledge, and cleanliness. It’s so encouraging for all of us to hear that we made a difference in the lives of our customers!"
