Our team has already spotted cyanobacteria in ponds this season. While cyanobacteria naturally occur in ponds and lakes throughout the country, blooms can grow rapidly in warm, nutrient-rich water. The thick, scummy layers are unpleasant to look at, making fishing and swimming unappealing. Plus the potential growth of toxin producing varieties can put the health of people and ecosystems at risk. While managing these blooms can be difficult and discouraging, they can’t just be ignored. Our maintenance plans focus on the health of the whole pond ecosystem and not just treating the symptoms of a problem. We develop the customized strategies to fit your needs and keep your water healthy for years to come.
