Hey Network~ 👋 I'd love to know what kinds of questions you have about how to interview to land your dream job - please comment below! In the meantime - I'll share some #ThursdayThoughts from a recruiter. If you are actively interviewing or plan to in the future - remember that every company has different expectations and a different process, and every recruiter evaluates and executes differently. You can't always control what type of experience you'll receive - but you CAN control what type of experience your recruiter has with you! I wanted to share a little insight on strong FOLLOW UP, this can sometimes seem like a lost art! Here are some key components to leave an impression after the interview is done: - Prompt: Send a follow up as soon as you have the chance. It shows excitement and engagement. It also reinforces any positive thoughts your recruiter recently had about you. - Professional: Keep grammar, phrases, organization, and length top of mind. Here's what I take away from an IMPACTFUL follow up email: 😀 Engagement and excitement about the role 🕴 Strong understanding of professional etiquette 🙉 Active listening during our interview 🚂 Self-drive and motivation to be successful in receiving their offer 😎 Ability to leave an impression through text Share this with your network, or post below what other questions you might have. Enjoy your last few days of the

Be yourself! It's just as important to make sure the company is a good fit for you, as it is for you to be a good fit for the company.
Great post! One thing I always do is personalize the follow up with something specific to what the interviewer shared with me. Often times it’s an answer I received to one of my final questions. One of my favorite final questions is “What’s the last book you read?”
