Please look carefully at such publications… Aeroflot Group will buy whatever it is told, no matter how long the delay is going to be. First of all, till now SJ-100s have been assigned only to the fleet of member of the group Rossia Airlines. Aeroflot Airlines itself does not have such type and new ones have nothing to do with SU itself. Soon or later they will come. Secondly, Tu-214 can be produced by factory in Kazan in a quantity of 4-5 per annum - not a big deal. There will be enough other customers. But…the key moment is that this type was designed according to ancient standards - with third person in the cockpit (board engineer). For SU this is the showstopper, no matter the design bureau and the producer promised to “look at the issue” MC-21 needs to prove its operational efficiency. Maybe it will be better than its Chinese rival (and potential alternative for SU) which is already operational? Let’s see….
