Due to the trend of automotive lightweighting and the focus on topics such as "plastic instead of steel," JZT, known for its precision plastic gears and other precision injection molding parts, has garnered attention in the market. Their main products, including automotive precision plastic gears and other precision injection molding parts, are well-regarded in China. One of their notable products is the high-strength automotive wiper system precision injection molded gear. It utilizes a new type of plastic with lower density and undergoes special structural treatment, resulting in gears that are not only lightweight and high-precision but also have a longer lifespan and higher strength. These high-precision gears are crucial components of the automotive transmission system, typically found in the wiper system under the car's bonnet. Through continuous research and development along with technological innovation, JZT has developed a range of high-quality, high-performance lightweight parts. This includes precision injection-molded gears and high-strength engineering plastics for accelerator parts, all of which meet the demands of well-known automobile brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and GM. Additionally, their products are used in new energy vehicles like Tesla, BYD, RISO, Azure, and Xiaopeng, showcasing their versatility and relevance in the evolving automotive industry. #Lightweight #LightweightAsia2024 #automotivelightweight To learn more about the market trends, stay tuned to Lightweight Asia 2024 Date: 03-05 July 2024 Venue: Shanghai New International Expo Center Learn more:https://lnkd.in/gid2RGSb

It was a great pleasure to discuss the development of the Chinese car market with my colleague Jun JIN and Burkhard Riering, editor in chief of Automobilwoche, at our webcast session “From China - with love?”. Once again, it has become obvious how dynamic and innovative the Chinese market is. The numerous new brands popping up like mushrooms speak a clear language. At the same time, the uncompromising growth strategy to conquer market share is currently reaching its limits in China. Soon we will see consolidation. However, this is no reason for European OEMs to sit back and relax. The existing overcapacities will keep prices under pressure. Chinese OEMs will not be deterred from their path to Europe either. But they will probably focus more on co-operations and alliances in order to produce locally for local - whether brownfield or greenfield. European manufacturers should take advantage of the market momentum and continue on their chosen path of accelerated and agile product development. Many thanks to Burkhard Riering for the excellent moderation and the extremely relevant questions! And to Jun for his deep insights! This was a lot of work by the team, to say we were put through the wringer would be an understatement. The key point here of course is the cost saving potential of the CoilDriver technology. Coil switching as a concept is not new, its effects have been well studied over decades. There are a multitude of ways of doing it and in general they all functionally work. From the beginning the challenge was not does coil switching work and do what is claimed, it does, to suggest otherwise is arguing against Maxwell's equations. The real challenge has always been can this be done cost effectively. So, anyone can coil switch, but only the CoilDriver can do it and reduce system cost at the same time. Finally have to give big thanks to Ansys for the continued support, without their industry standard and, importantly, accepted simulation tools, this would have been a much heavier lift.
After more than a year of behind-the-scenes work, we're thrilled to reveal our collaboration with Stellantis in the passenger vehicle segment! 🚀 We're also honored to be one of the three finalists in the Innovation category for Stellantis annual Supplier of the Year Award and one of only two early-stage companies nominated across all categories. This prestigious award honors suppliers that have created features with the potential to become brand identifiers or market changers, and our Coil Driver™ technology has shown it can be just that by successfully progressing through multiple technical, performance, and cost study milestones! This marks a significant validation for our technology with our first major passenger vehicle partner. We can't wait to share more exciting developments ahead ⚡ 🚗 Read the Press Release here: https://lnkd.in/g6gi3dQn

Possible scenario for VW facility cuts – where "Lower" plays a "Higher" role - #Osnabrück and #Emden, which were possible cut targets, could stay due to their Lower Saxony origins. Gunnar Kilian was in Osnabrück a few weeks ago, essentially saying we've got your back. - #Dresden, which will only help a bit, is most likely at the top of the list due to its low-hanging fruit nature and a current cash drain. - #Zwicaku, despite recent investments, converting it from an ICE to a BEV-only facility could also go, given it is in Saxony and not Lower Saxony. A possible deal to hand control to VW's Chinese partner SAIC, which is the parent company of MG, would also not be out of the question and could explain MG's reluctance to announce any investments in Europe so far, while others such as Chery and BYD have been. A gesture like that would also play well with the Chinese in a market that is hugely important to the Germans and where they have been struggling of late. Taking Brussels, Dresden and Zwicaku out of the game would reduce capacity by around 0.5 million units and increase utilisation rates at the core Group plants such as WOB and Ingolstadt.

Founder, CEO and Board Member of International Bank for Nuclear Infrastructure - Implementation Organisation (IBNI-IO) | Managing Director at Dean Capital Strategies GmbH
Rethink some things, indeed… mainly energy policy and especially nuclear and renewables policies. Those policies will result in enormous costs and cause de-industrialisation of Germany. Highest energy costs (and unclean) in the world are no place for industrial growth and retaining German industry. Germany is indeed the shining example of worst possible energy policy and serves as a great benchmark — in that reasonably good energy policy must be the opposite of German energy policy.
“Germany as a business location is falling further behind in terms of competitiveness.” - Oliver Blume, CEO Volkswagen Volkswagen is considering unprecedented factory closures in Germany - it would be the first time it shuts down a major factory in its home nation in its 87 year history. 😬 Germany, you need to rethink some things. ASAP. https://lnkd.in/eW9R_G8F 🇩🇪 🍺 🥨
