To build a strong sense of self worth, value yourself, love yourself and believe in yourself. Give attention to what makes you happy, what makes you tick. Give attention to your strengths and your weaknesses. Become aware of your past achievements, validate yourself, celebrate your successes and accomplishments. Don’t minimise your accomplishments. Learn to stand up for yourself. This is critical because life can box you into a corner occasionally. It just might be what people say about you, how they perceive you and treat you, or likely the challenges you face daily that get you to question yourself. Make a commitment to yourself to look after you. No one can care for you, as much as you can care for yourself. Everything can wait for you. Now relaunch yourself to becoming a better version of yourself of you. To your achievement🍾

Sadly, this is super accurate for me. I know I'm really good at my job and I know that I can be very valuable as part of the team...But when I make a small mistake I am very hard on myself. I have been trying to work on that in the last few years. I have started to actively tell myself when I do something good. It feels a little silly to say, "Way to go self!" randomly during the day. It has helped me to identify when I do well instead of considering it just another task done. If you have this same problem, try finding something you did well. Look for them. Acknowledge them when you find them. You will find what you're focused on. Focus on how great you are. #ShineOn #FindYourWins #NeverSettle

We are harder on ourselves than anyone else is, but you need to give yourself a break. Stop the negative self-talk and beating yourself up all the time. Here are 7 ways to do that: 1️⃣ Congratulate yourself for the small wins. 2️⃣ Think about people and things that you’re grateful for. 3️⃣ Reflect on past successes to remind yourself how amazing you are. 4️⃣ Acknowledging your strengths. We all have them, even though it may not seem that way. 5️⃣ Replace negative self-talk with encouragement. Tell yourself things like, "I am capable," “I deserve to be successful,” and “I can figure this out.” 6️⃣ Focus on small, specific steps to get to where you want to along the way for those lofty goals. We want to do big things, but it’s good to step back and be realistic about the things we need to do to accomplish them. 7️⃣ Ask friends, family, and co-workers for written testimonials about what makes you a great person and co-worker. These can be a big confidence booster. You are amazing. If others believe that, you should too. But believe it even if others don’t. 😉

How to stop worrying about what people think of you 🚀 Intro: The Worry Wagon🚀 We all worry about what others think of us, but it's time to hop off the worry wagon and embrace your unique self! Here's a wacky guide to help you let go and focus on what truly matters. 🧙♂️Embrace Your Inner Weirdo🧙♀️ Celebrate your quirks! Whether it's a love for funky socks 🧦 or a passion for puns, your uniqueness makes you stand out. Embrace it and stop trying to fit into a mold. 🔮The Magic Cloak of Meh🔮 Imagine a Magic Cloak of Meh 🧥 that deflects unnecessary opinions. When you start worrying, wrap yourself in this cloak and say, "Meh, it doesn’t matter." Focus on your work and happiness, not others' judgments. 🛑The “Stop Giving a Fudge” Button🍫 Picture a big red button that says, “Stop Giving a Fudge.” 🍫 Mentally press it whenever you start worrying about trivial things. It’s a fun reminder to let go and focus on what’s important. 🎈The Balloon of Perspective🎈 Visualize your worries as tiny figures on a balloon. 🎈 Let the balloon float away, shrinking your worries. This helps you see that most concerns are just hot air. 🌟The Star Power of Positivity🌟 List your strengths and achievements. Activate your Star Power and let your confidence shine. Celebrate your wins, big and small. 🦄 The Unicorn of Uniqueness🦄 You’re a unicorn in a world of horses. 🦄 Embrace your unique traits and stand out proudly. Not everyone will appreciate your uniqueness and that’s okay. Be Yourself!🌟 Embrace your quirks, focus on what matters and let go of unnecessary worries. Be yourself; everyone else is taken!🌟

Everyone else is proud of you, so why aren't you proud of yourself? Here's why 👇 They say things like..... "I don’t know how you do it," or "You’ve come so far." They tell you how well you're doing. Everyone around you is proud of your achievements. But inside, you don’t feel the same. You might even question whether they really mean it. The reason it’s so hard to feel proud of yourself, even when everyone else is telling you that you should be, comes down to your relationship with your self-worth. You can achieve all the success in the world, tick all the boxes, and meet all the external expectations. But if deep down, you don’t believe you’re worthy of it, you’ll never feel happy and proud of yourself. You’ll keep moving the goalposts. You’ll tell yourself that you’ll finally feel good about yourself when you achieve the next thing, or you complete the next project, or you tackle the next challenge. Until you feel you’ve done “enough”. But here’s the rub: That sense of peace, confidence and fulfilment you’re looking *won’t* come from ticking more boxes, claps on the back, or pleasing other people. I hate to deliver you a cheesboard 🧀 of a cliché, but it comes from within. It comes from learning to value yourself, your efforts, and your journey and being happy with the way you do it all. Pride and confidence in yourself aren’t a result of doing more. Feeling like you’ve finally done enough or gotten as good as you can get doesn’t come from completing your list of goals. They come from accepting who you are and believing that you’re already enough 💛 When you work on your confidence and self-worth, that feeling of pride in yourself will come naturally – without having to chase it. If this is resonating with you, send me a DM and let's chat 😀

I saw a post today that made me stop and think. Enough so that I recreated it in an Excel file, printed it on nice stationary, laminated it and hung it on my office wall - right at eye level so it keeps reminding me. I felt the need to share. The post was "6 Sentences that will changed your Life & Mindset" 1. Stop telling people everything. Most people don't care and some secretly want you to fail. 2. Choose your friends wisely. The fastest way to become better is to surround yourself with better people. 3. Expect nothing, appreciate everything. Be grateful for the little things in your life to find inner peace. 4. Do your best and trust the process. The harder you work, the luckier you will get. 5. Control yourself, not others. Controlling others is strength, controlling yourself is true power. 6. Learn to react less. When you control your reaction, no one can manipulate you. Words to live by, I think.

Don't let anyone knock you and your efforts. They are completely unique to you. Make no explanations for your choices. Don't compare yourself to others. This is your journey. Do what suits you. Work on you. Our most important relationship we have is the one with ourselves. If this isn't a good one then no other connections will be healthy. Start from within and work out. Applaud your efforts. It's not easy to look inwards and work on our flaws. Be proud that you're trying! #selfimprovementjourney
