Now we are smoking.

My wife’s best friends husband was diagnosed with last month with stage 4 cancer and he is in his 40s. They have a little girl who is 11. So since I love to make JTQ I am hosting a benefit for them. We received orders for 70 Boston Butts. In a few hours I will be starting 74 butts (always make a few extra in case something goes wrong lol) After expenses it looks like we will be able To gift them between $2000 and $2400. One local restaurant ordered 20. To take to western Nc to feed the displaced tomorrow. If you have a chance to do something nice for someone. Do it.

Bringing power to Western NC to assist in the storm damaged areas is bitter sweet. It’s terrible what I’ve seen up there and I wish no one had to go through this but I’m glad I work for Mobile Air & Power Rentals where we will do anything we can to service our customers. The storm/hurricane that hit Western NC and Upstate SC have left the area. But the devastation left behind just can not be put into words. This will be a long and slow moving clean up process.
