Greetings to you all friends wishing you a very happy Friday 💝🌹🤗 HIGHER EVERYDAY To All and All DATE:09 Feb 2024 TOPIC:WALKING AS JESUS WALKED MEMORY VERSE: :“He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked” READ:1 JOHN 2:1-6 MESSAGE: A military parade has been described by Wikipedia as a formation of soldiers whose movement is restricted by close-order maneuvering known as drilling or marching. Have you watched soldiers on parade before? You would observe or hear some kind of rhythm in their march. Rhythm is a regular beat occurring at an equal interval of time. The rhythm that gives a sort of melody is possible because every soldier follows the step of the commander leading the march. The end result is always a beautiful march. Jesus is the Captain of the believers’ salvation. He is the Commander-in-Chief of His army. The soldiers in the analogy above were able to finish well because they followed the footsteps of their commander. In the same vein, every Christian that desires to finish well on earth must follow the footsteps of Jesus. Walking as Jesus walked means daily living a life of love, holiness, prayerfulness, watchfulness, evangelism, and fellowship with saints. How do you live in your school and community? Are you living a life that glorifies God? PRAYER: Help me Lord to obey you in all things. CHALLENGE: Are you living a life that glorifies God?

Once we become born again or accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior, our purpose shifts to align with God's purpose. As believers, we cannot have conflicting purposes; our focus should be on the Great Purpose. Thus, we are tasked to serve God's purpose in our generations. An example of this can be seen in Acts 13:35, where David is noted for serving God's purpose in his own generation. In order to stay relevant in our generations, God often gives us visions. These visions consist of two main components: service or products. Many people serve God's purpose through various careers like teaching, military service, law, business, and more. Others contribute through creating products and innovative ideas, actively playing a part in serving God's purpose uniquely. Remember, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Deuteronomy 28:13 KJV [13] And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: https://lnkd.in/dwu2vntp
