So the dog of war spirit, when Albanese gets on the job, they know it's going to get done safely on time. We're going to hit the ground running. There's not going to be excuses. That feeling of getting a crew together and being a part of kick starting that and getting a job done like that, to me it feels like a game day. To be a dog of war is just to go out there and show your pride every day and strive and look better than the other companies were. We're battling next to every day. The basic theory behind the whole dog of war thing was it's a war. The construction industries of war, and we're out there to to win it. From the office to the field, everyone at J is the dog of war. We all wear the same uniform. We all watch each other's backs. And you know, if we ever see anything that's unsafe, we say something. It's a level of engagement that that is unparalleled. The dogs are committed. Dogs are determined. Dogs never quit. Dogs take extreme pride. They do it over and over and over again. I have no other choice but to just try to keep up. We are continuing to get jobs and when we're on job sites, people are excited to see us because they know what the work that we can do. My father was a Vietnam veteran. The Dogs of war comes from that was his team in Vietnam and it stood for kind of this mentality of going out, always accomplishing the mission. Don't leave anyone behind. Take extreme pride in the team. In the early 90s, facing some tough times and was really up against the wall. He he woke up one day and you know, if I'm going to go out, I'm go Working here at Albanese will hold ourselves to a high standard Dogs of War determined to get the job done and get the job done safety. To me, the meaning of a dog of war is to be part of a team. As soon as you are a member of this community, you're a member for life. Being a dog of war is not just about getting a job done, it's about getting it done safely. But it's a point of pride to be the best and strive and push it upon. And then the other guys start to to feel it as well. At JJ, we take pride in our culture of safety. It's starting to become a reputation with a lot of our general contractor we work for. We're the the Bay Area is construction 911. Like when we need something done, hey, we need Albanese and to be a part of that energy, to be a part of that competitive on the job. Everybody's working to be their best, represent their best and get the job done the best that we can, the highest quality that we can. That's why I'm so excited to get up and be a part of that energy and those people.

Captain's Log 18 May '24 Video Update. Remember last years driest May in 29 years in the U.S....not this year! If your seasonal sales and store traffic are soft, blame the wet weather as many retailers just did.
