A new initiative, the Community InnoVHAtion Lab, is changing the #Agetech narrative by incorporating the lived experiences of older adults and caregivers to create a library of meaningful solutions for today and tomorrow’s challenges. This is actual footage of me pivoting into the tech world. Okay, you got me. It's me trying to put a duvet cover on a duvet. The essence, though, is the same. "This is actually harder than I thought it was going to be." I planned to waltz in and apply my clinical skills (duvet cover) to a product (duvet). Easy! But with the oversaturation of tech professionals in the market this year, the steep learning curve of switching out of the nonprofit and therapy world into techland, and my own circumstances, I almost met my match with this pivot.
