10moOne of the biggest opportunities/disadvantages of the industry is that job titles have a wide range of meanings. I've been on both sides, where my job title gave me more credit than I thought I deserved and less credit than I thought was owed to me. I like the tactics you mention here Josh Fullmer. One thing I'll add to this is INTERVIEW. I've been on hiring teams where someone looks great on paper except for one minor thing and it turns into a big discussion about whether or not they should be interviewed and ends up taking more cycles than performing the interview.
