Morning & Noon Anchor at WVVA

I enjoy each of my roles because it requires being present. Being present as a reporter fosters storytelling. It means one is fluid and open to where the story takes you. It means having situational awareness. One variable change can alter the way one tells a story. Other times, having conversations with the interviewee takes the story in a completely different direction. Being present as a producer is a portion of the way a show comes alive. I may have a show stacked a certain way but if my guest/co-anchor and I are having a moment I want it to breathe. Being present as an anchor is essential. Once that on-air sign is lit it is go-time. And all one should do is interact & address in real-time segments, conversations & anything the control room displays in videos or graphics. Being present is part of the magic. Some of that magic is in this #BoldenBlitz: Jan. 29 - Feb. 2 #MiniDemoReel #Reporter #Anchor #Producer #Host #Broadcaster
