The future of events lies in the hybrid format. It combines our natural human need to connect with like-minded people in person with the opportunity for contributors to present beyond the event dates. This allows you to attend on-demand talks undisturbed in the quiet of the morning or late evening hours. Nowadays, as technology has become easier, very reliable and affordable, It's different from my first experience 12 years ago as an exhibitor at a virtual only exhibition. Although then, it was already not so difficult to customize the set up. Since then, much has happened.  I recommend combining a physical event with a virtual exhibition. This way, sponsors can highlight their brand and build connections and leads with a much wider audience and attendees than just at the event itself. #futureofevents #virtual #hybrid #sponsorshipmarketing #eventmarketing

The dynamics of event attendance are evolving, and participants are driven by a myriad of factors that extend far beyond the actual event days. Interesting insights on how attendees are motivated by a combination of pre-event, on-site, and post-event experiences. #arinex #eventprofs #arinexlive

The world is divided into two parts: 1) companies that deal with products and companies that provide services. 2) While trade shows have been created for selling products, there has been nothing equivalent for service-oriented companies except for conferences. 3) Consider this: 1000 companies can place their products on the shelves of 1000 booths. However, only 30-50 speakers can present their services at conferences to an audience of 1000 participants. 4) This means that companies with products have solved the problem of showcasing what they produce to buyers, but service-oriented companies have not solved the problem of displaying their services. 5) This is why we have created a new format, The Leads Arena, which incorporates our event tech technologies for matchmaking and networking, along with a new format that doesn’t exist with major players like Messe, Informa, Clarion, and RX Global. 6) We are open to potential partnerships and are particularly interested in finding an investor who wants to enter the congress and exhibition market.

My first day back after the initial IT Expo of 2024.👌 The IT conference scene is buzzing after the pandemic! So great to finally swap ideas face-to-face again. Connecting at expos can really shape where we're headed in our careers and businesses. Prior to these events, my intention is always to allocate significant time for thorough research. I often do not manage to discover as exhibitors or speakers as I would prefer, but it does help me get into the right mindset.— identifying the top speakers, planning which booths to visit, and refining my elevator pitch. Ultimately, there's nothing quite like the rush of immersing oneself in what may seem like mundane conversations to the outside world but are both invigorating and informative. I always allow room for some spontaneity that planning can't beat. There is no doubt, the way we share our information is changing, post expo does make me wonder, are business cards old school in networking, or are they still a thing? Remember that expo a few years back? Despite the hype, the venue felt surprisingly quiet after investing a small fortune and heaps of time. Standing there at your booth, you wonder how to draw in the crowd. Wouldn't it be great if we or the organisers could influence foot traffic more directly during the event? Uncertainty surrounding crowd engagement is one of our biggest challenges as exhibitors Even at well-attended events, the flow of the right traffic can feel haphazard. I recently stumbled into a small business expo at ExCel, and even though the ExCel was packed, this particular show felt strangely deserted. I couldn't help but sympathise with exhibitors, especially those in less visible spots struggling to catch visitors' eyes. ➡️Can organisers do more to steer traffic and ensure everyone gets a fair shot? ➡️Real-time promotions and targeted notifications leading attendees straight to our booths—talk about making the most of our time there! We can learn a lot when it comes to navigating large venues or conferences on larger complexes. Missed sessions, lost attendees, and missed connections can turn a promising event into a frustrating maze. Picture an event app with detailed maps and real-time navigation, actively guiding attendees straight to your booths or to the right stage at the right time. That would be a game-changer, right? To exhibit or not to exhibit... - I'm not sure how many times I have heard the question from colleagues, companies we work with or other business owners. Once you've committed to attending, you want to make every minute and opportunity count. Remember that expo disappointment? It's a sinking feeling to realise you've invested hours in something that fell short. We deserve events that deliver on their promises. I have a question for conference and expos organisers ➡️ what if we could really leverage real-time data and interactive features to engage attendees more effectively and deliver a better experience?
