During a recent Casual For A Cause dress down day, we raised funds for Beyond Violence! They are a nonprofit organization located in Berwick dedicated to assisting women and children facing domestic violence. We are proud to support the amazing work they do for our communities.

💔 Shocking but true: by age 19, 1 in 4 adolescent girls who have been in a relationship have faced physical, sexual, or psychological abuse from a partner. 🚨 To combat gender-based violence, we must tackle this sad reality at its roots. That's why @BethesdaHouse invests in prevention programs in schools. 🏫 We teach children and teenagers how to cultivate healthy relationships, recognize abuse, and bravely seek for help. Let's break the cycle together. 💜 If you want to help us fund these programs, please consider donating to us today: https://loom.ly/7D4hpXo

This #GivingTuesday lets rally to support programs that make a tangible difference and literally save lives like Youth ALIVE! Oakland's anchor community-based organization for violence prevention, intervention, and healing. Consider this: · $50,000 runs one of our Teens on Target violence prevention program sites for 6 months. · $25,000 helps 15 grieving families bury a loved one if the state denies their appeal. · $10,000 means 300 middle school students learn the skills to talk a friend out of using a gun. · $5,000 provides 10 gunshot wound survivors with services proven to prevent re-injury, retaliation, and further violence · $2,500 stabilizes a family impacted by violence. · $1,000 covers a TNT student’s stipend, a critical, first paycheck for many. · $250 amplifies the story of a survivor advocating for systemic change. I hope you'll join me by making a donation today to build a safer and more compassionate future. Donate here: https://shorturl.at/clPW9

It's great to see additional government funding going towards Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence, yet it cannot and meet the breadth and depth of services that are needed on the ground if we are to curb the trends and keep women and families safe. Sydney Women's Fund is not only advocating for a safe, inclusive, vibrant city, it also supports funding going towards critical grassroots services that remain overwhelmed by demand and under-resourced. They have just launched a campaign to support these organisations and better yet, each dollar you donate will be matched. Now's the time to give and support women and children to have a safe place to go. https://lnkd.in/dCrqp3aa

Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, and the numbers don't lie. As DeliverFund’s CEO Nic McKinley mentioned on The Stand Alone podcast with Sabrina Lloyd, the United States is the largest human trafficking market in the world, dollar for dollar. This isn’t just a distant issue—it’s happening right here, in our neighborhoods and communities. At DeliverFund, we’re fighting back by empowering law enforcement with the tools and intelligence needed to dismantle these trafficking networks. It's time to break the silence and take action. 💪 Follow DeliverFund for more info on how you can join the fight against human trafficking. Together, we can make a difference. #WorldDayAgainstTrafficking #HumanTraffickingAwareness #TechThatProtects #HumanTraffickingPrevention #Nonprofit #Charity #ItEndsHere #Trafficking #HumanTrafficking

Don’t miss your chance to maximise your support for WAGEC! Donate to Walk for WAGEC today to have your contribution DOUBLED by our partners at Pepper Money ANZ. If you give $100, WAGEC gets $200. If you give $250, WAGEC gets $500. If you give $500, WAGEC gets $1000. This means we can turn one week of groceries into two. We can provide a woman with crisis accommodation for six days instead of three. We can give crucial counselling and holistic support to twenty women instead of ten. Every dollar gets the women and children at WAGEC closer to starting a new chapter and supports their recovery after experiencing homelessness or domestic violence. We are aiming to raise $160,000 before tomorrow at 5pm. Can we count on your support to reach our goal? Let’s build safer futures for women and children. We’re stronger when we walk together.
