Did you know that Prestressed Double T's can span over 100 feet? That's right, a FIMA rated Double T can span up to 104 feet! If you're working on a project that requires large spans, such as storm shelters, prestressed double T's might be the best option. Consider using them to ensure your project is structurally sound and meets all safety requirements. #construction #engineering #prestressed #DoubleT Prestressed Concrete Construction

🟡water stoper🟡 is a material used in construction to prevent the passage of water through joints in concrete structures. It is typically installed where two concrete elements meet, such as in walls, floors, and basements, to protect against water ingress. 🟡 Main purpose of water stoper 1_ Ensuring waterproofing 2_ Protection reinforcement by preventing water from seeping through joints 3_ Maintaining structural integrity 4_ Minimize maintenance costs #waterproofing #waterstoper #siteengineer #construction

"Building Dry in the Wet: The Magic of Cofferdams" Cofferdams are temporary watertight enclosures constructed to create a dry work environment for building structures in or near water. They allow construction activities like bridge piers, docks, and dams to proceed without water interference. The working principle involves driving sheet piles or walls into the riverbed or seabed to form a barrier. The enclosed area is then dewatered using pumps to remove water. This creates a dry and stable work area. Once construction is complete, the cofferdam is removed. The design and materials of cofferdams depend on the site's conditions, including water depth, flow, and soil type. video rights : respective owners DM for removal/credits #cofferdams #UnderwaterConstruction #bridge #engineering #technology #civilconstruction #construction #civilengineering #engenharia #engenhariacivil

Compared to timber, steel offers excellent fire protection as it is both non-combustible and fire-resistant. This advantage allows steel structures to bypass building regulations concerning fire safety and proximity to property boundaries. Opting for steel frames in your construction project not only increases the capacity of your building, but also guarantees a sleek, anaesthetic appearance.

Check out the evolution of the service pits at the Henley Brook Project. The BPR team started with the construction of the shutters on site, and later lowered these into the dug out pits. These shutters need to be constructed and reinforced as they are filled with concrete – and there can be no ‘blow outs’ Shutters are built The base of the pit is formed & poured The shutters installed, braced Concrete walls poured into the shutters Shutters are removed and backfilled Ready to pour the slab What a process! That’s why the A-Team are on site. #CommercialConstruction #InfrastructureProject #ConstructionProgress #BusDepotConstruction #EarthworksExpertise #ConcreteConstruction #ProjectManagement
