This is me in 2011, standing proudly with my first successfully received Pipeline "Pig". This moment marked my entry into the oil and gas industry and remains an unforgettable milestone. I remember trying to keep the concept of "Pipeline Pigging" simple in my mind as it was completely new to me, and the smile on my face shows the excitement of the young child within, realizing that pipeline pigging was like launching a massive potato cannon, just like the ones we crafted in our neighborhood growing up (except In a more controlled and safe environment, of course 😅). As project managers, our journeys are filled with significant milestones that shape our careers and define our leadership. Looking back at our first projects, we see the foundation of our growth and the experiences that fuel our passion for what we do. Let’s celebrate these moments and the lessons they’ve taught us.
